"You wouldn't believe how much easier parking is, with this one SIMPLE trick!!"
Right???? I'm 61 years young and I can't imagine crawling out of the driver's side window. Just saying, I would find a different parking spot.

I don't park next to people ever. The few times I park next to others in my daily, I come back to it dinged up. It's almost a guarantee. Not letting that happen to the supra.
This! My fat ass can use the extra steps anyway, haha. Always park far. I plan my trips around parking, lol. Dentist? How is the parking? Pizza pickup, can I park safely?

True and why some have a "beater" for the daily high risk stuff.

Phil
Agreed.
Daily beater aside. It’s a CAR. Granted, it’s a fantastic lovely machine with styling and performance well above its pay grade. But still a car.
It’s not a vestal virgin, it’s not an SF-90, it’s not a Koenigsegg. It’s a $60k Toyota. Drive it and enjoy it.
I don’t understand the ‘wrap it in ceramic, park it in the climate controlled garage, and never drive it” crowd.

I was much more precious before, but then I got crunched in a hit and run and it was a bummer. I've got it back from the shop, but my head space is different now and I'm far less precious about it.

go park up front with the handicap swine in their monster suvs/trucks and minivans then and see how much youl care when your car is littered with dents, scratches, and devastating hit and run damage then come back here and say it again you dont care its just a “60k Toyota”

As careful as I have been with the supra, none of it mattered since I got hit sitting still at a red light. You can do everything you can to keep it safe but in reality, if you drive it, it's not safe.

With my DD, I don't care too much about it and park where I can and what not. It has got more chips and dents in 2 years than any other vehicle I have ever owned. It's seriously crazy how much other people can care less about your car. It's almost like they will leave you with a dent just cause they can. My newest dent came from attending a work party for my other half. I parked as far away as possible (due to knowing people were going to leave drunk) and the one car that parked next to me left the biggest dent yet.

Vast majority of people in the public view cars as a toaster oven with wheels, or perhaps a way to ? but not the same way we would treat something endearing to us, unfortunately.

Precisely. My 6 year old Chevy has the battle scars to show for it. I drive the shit out of the Supra but will never park it “between a truck and minivan”.

Half the time I'm like "fffffuuu ah fuck it, it'll be alright. How careless can these guys parked next to me can be". Then you find out the hard way :)
Still gotta gauge. With any car I'm driving, I'm at no point parking next to dinged, rusted, busted, clearly been in multiple accidents, disabled plates or permitted cars, unless I'm dying. Especially in grocery parking lots with wind & gravity powered go-karts.
