Speak for yourself SupraFiend! What do you do it you are dating a extremely cute girl and she won't go anywhere without her 2 sisters and you are driving your MKIV Supra??? She tells you if my sisters can't come then I am NOT going. That is how I met my GF of 5 years lol. So with all due respect, I will have to disagree with your post, they are VERY Important!
Shit! I would have ditched her on the spot. Haha!

I think you miss what I was saying. The leak photos are 100% the production car. My point is that the leaks are low quality and do not show every detail. This happens with almost every leak with any car.

Leak pics: Looks like sh*t

There is not argument from me about how gorgeous the FT1 is. But from day one they have said if approved from proudction it will be 10% smaller. Kevin Hunter also stated that the dimensions were exaggerated for presence. Those that were hoping for a new Supra to look just like the FT1 were living in La La Land.

I'm not wondering anything. I'm just not making assumptions and passing judgement before I know the facts and before seeing it in full detail. Again, what I am saying is to all those saying its going to suck and blah blah, have they driven? Do they know the final specs?
With all of the renderings and leaks, it shouldn't really be much of any surprise. The details/specs will come in several days but the car's exterior is what we can expect.

TBH, one guy on the FB Supra group, lowered it and it looked much better.

I do remember Kevin Hunter's comment about size but back to your original comment. The disappointments are based on visual feedback and it's a lot of disappointments; not it's just the regular Ford and Chevy-jap crap crowd. It's sort of like the Miata. It doesn't look that good but they are fun to boot around the track. This version has big shoes to fill (no pun intended with the Z4 looking like a shoe) but this car will be good; it just won't be legendary.

My personal opinion is that the only reason people hate this car is because of the collab with BMW. If nobody knew that they had collabed, everyone would be ecstatic about the Supra coming back. The comments that "This looks like a BMW" wouldn't exist. This car has so many aesthetic features that are beautiful. I don't see how people can say this is an ugly car. The worst part is that it is so close to the Concept! That's an amazing feat from Toyota. It's sporty, it has wide hips, the rear is to die for....I don't understand.

I just hope that all this negativity towards the Supra doesn't affect the GRMN version from getting sent to the US.

I personally can't wait for someone to release a FT1 inspired body kit for this thing. Throw on a set of Volk TE37's....:headbang::bow:

But if anyone is gonna ruin the car with those vomit inducing Rocket Bunny fenders, Rotiform wheels and be all hellaflush and cambergang...:crazy::confused1::nono::banghead::rolleyes1::what::doh:
Agreed...

I understand that....however, non of us on this forum have seen the car in person. All Iā€™m saying is, letā€™s just wait another 2 days or so and see what Toyota has to offer before we criticize. The car may be lacking in one area but be amazing in another. Letā€™s wait, thatā€™s all...:D
I'm not criticizing. IMO, the only reason to choose a mk5 over a mk4 is to get a smaller, lighter Supra with a better weight balance and lower CG. Every other category, the MK4 is a better car. :)
