G87 M2 next?
Ew. No. 😁 I went Italian.

Damn that's nice!

@NitroYellowMKV Why didn't you offer me a soft-stitched airbag pad?! ;)

If I had one of those I wouldn't have been branded by the plastic Toyota sombrero when it slapped my forearm at 200 mph
At least you know your airbag wold work. Maybe the stitched one allows the airbag to deploy.....? 🤷🏼

Not sure what you're saying here. Airbag's gonna airbag, doesn't matter what's in its way, and mine deployed exactly like it was supposed to.

The OEM center pad would've slapped my arm just the same, as they all have the same specific perforation pattern. Google "airbag burns/tattoos" and you'll see that I got off easy, as there's countless examples of emblems smoking forearms so hard it literally looks like it was applied with a hot iron. Ouch to the umpth degree!

Dropped my car off to wrap the lower front bumper, roof and b pillars.

Also wrapping and installing my maxton kit (satin black to match the oem trim).

Picking up today or tomorrow. Can’t wait!

We did rent a really nice Mazda CX-90 to take us to all the hiking trails. Someday we’ll get the Supra up here like you other mountain peeps 😍

Swapped out the catless DP and stock exhaust for a Gesi DP and AWE resonated touring. Got tired of the smell but wanted to retain some exhaust volume.

Now I have to decide if I want to do hybrid turbo, fueling, manifold etc now since it’s going to need a retune anyway or just retune as-is…it sure is a big jump in $ for all the supporting mods beyond the e50/DP power level.

Oof you are permentantly nitro branded! nice! And yes always good to see my products work as intended. Airbag covers are not something you want to mess around with... important it is done right.

Agreed 100%, and it's ironic that I was one of the loudest voices swearing up and down about the critical importance of also having an authentic OEM (TRW) steering wheel core for safety in an accident...and then I unwittingly became a beta tester for that exact notion. Lest we forget, the impact was strong enough to bend a frame-rail. I'm sooo glad I had the real thing, and after a close analysis it's completely fine to use again in my next MKV!

During the post-shunt switcheroo:

I'm planning to lift the supra the same way you have here
Can you share how it was done and anything you watch for safety?

Last week, I adjusted my friend's front bumper gap because his neighbor's pickup truck backed into his car. He had the front bumper resprayed.

12/31 New Years Eve, woke up at 5am and met up with one of my supra buddies for a drive up to Bella's bake shop in Mt Kisco for a cars and coffee event and then drove up to Hayfields Cafe in North Salem. Here's a couple of photos I took from both location
