I agree here. Gt3RS 991 is a 520hp car that is more or less track tunned from the factory with aero, also lighter at around 1430kg. They r battling each other here or cars like tunned AMG GT R or Formula F2000.
Also, the guy whos on podium 2nd year in a row in the series is faster in his GT3rs than in 600hp Supra..

So, at ~500crank with some suspension and aero I will prob touch standard GT3's at best, thats why I'm pondering what can be done more without stripping it and turning into race car :)
We all realize that and are being somewhat facetious when we say a Supra can keep up. But it's easier to just say a Supra can keep up than to say, "A Supra can keep up with a GT3/GT3RS assuming the Supra driver has approx XX years experience and the car is decently set up. Also assuming the possibility that the Porsche owner is a newer driver and maybe even afraid to push the car since he spent $500k on it".

Can anyone chime in on their personal experience with Verus brake ducts and how they’ve held up over time? Was there noticeable change during long sessions?
Mine are getting installed this week. I haven’t had any ducts yet that didn’t require some nip, tuck, zip tying (TLC) as time went on. Highly recommend the link below ? for anyone considering brake ducts.

I was having many of the issue mentioned. The pads in the picture, uneven wear, etc. The race shop suggested I get some. Will let y’all know as the season goes on how they do (for me at least ?)

Well, so either gt3rs guys are very good here or supra guys weak, or both. Gt3rs here on diff tracks are usually 4s faster on ~2min laps.
Will see, i wanna do seat for now coz car is fresh&stock atm.
Also, seems like a nice part, i prob buy it since its not too expensive and local to me:

Also have one of these sitting around waiting to be installed. I'll post a thread of the install once I get around to it ?

They have canards in development too.

U codded out seat warning after swap to recaro? Can it be mounted visibly lower than stock ones?

I didn't code out anything, the only error I have is for the driver seat airbag. Otherwise everything works as it should. There is a thread the discusses the install and what needs to be done but I can't remember the name of it off hand. I do know there is some coding you can do to get rid of that error but there seems to be a bit of confusion as to whether or not it can still be done after an update to the app.

But yep they are visibly lower. I personally have mine mounted at the top on the front mount and one down on the rear mount while using the Macht-Schnell side mounts + sliders

Good, I needa go lower. My 2.0 seats being manual were at least 3cm lower coz less electrical stuff than 3,0 seats have, and now I cant take a racing position, need to lean back :/ Needa fix this with seat.
Basic plan to march tho is install some aero that is covering dust and do some basic wrap so it looks more like a racecar coz for now its stock af :flame:

Any of You guys changed exhaust post dp while tunning or running stock? High EGT's can be problematic to sustain 500+ hp on track or not really? I red somewhere 900+C exhaust temps could be a concern when rising power...
I'm looking at Garage Whifbitz titanium exhaust (mostly to cut weight not make it louder), it flows around stock levels, should it be fine or I should look or sth better designed? +catted 200cel DP

EGT logging is inferred unfortunately and I doubt anyone has run actual EGT probes and logged.

Just don’t run a ton of boost through the oem style turbine housing and you should be okay.

as someone who competes in time attack and has a full custom titanium exhaust, I can say it’s not really worth it for weight savings. The car is already front heavy and taking weight off the rear (especially below cog) isn’t really going to help performance

Well, planning to do hybrid turbo modyfing stock one + target is ~520hp/~650nm crank (around 440whp), so I guess nothing crazy. Wanna cut weight on exhaust thats why looking at light titanium one.

Well, weight out is weight out, counteract with aero balance and suspension tuning? Exhaust + battery + seat + wheels + suspension is around -65kg to take off, making it sub 1500kg car with full tank.
no?
