I am having individual EGT sensors placed on each runner of my Elise manifold. Cylinders not uncommonly run at different temps even when the injectors are all well balanced. Hot cylinders are pretty common and it has a lot to do with the intake manifold design. Even more common in boosted builds. On top of that, injectors can fail slowly causing one cylinder to slowly lean out and EGTs to rise. Monitoring is not all about preventing detonation, you have to safeguard those exhaust valves from excess heat too. If you know the actual EGTs you can build in safety parameters (cut ignition) or add additional fuel selectively to the hot cylinders. It's pretty cool stuff.
I understand the value of EGT monitoring. I was talking about the mk5 Supra, in a mk5 Supra forum. ?

7-8-9 sec single pulls with 40psi+ are not relevant to cars that go WOT for 20 mins / 20 hours.
1000000% agree that the data is worthless for you, I'm actually not even talking about drag race stuff, but the ability to log individual EGTs has been done, which I think is actually quite relevant to you turny folks.

In history? Of course, I’ve personally used per-cyl EGT and per-cyl Lambda on cars. I’m talking about mk5 turny Supras in a mk5 turny Supra thread.

Lotus cars and drag Supras are not relevant.

What r we talking about
If stock exhaust is good for 450whp for track or does it have EGT limiting problems.
And weight reduction worth on this car, mostly taken out from the back.
Also i cant measure oil so I wonder if thats a sensor only issue or oil pump is dying, but this one got ignored ?

What is the best oil to use to keep my egt's down?

Oh that’s a great question ! Wonder if that has even been discussed in detail?

I will hang up and listen….
