Completely forgot I asked 🤣
Thanks for reminding me.
I'm losing the plot at the ripe age of 37 😂
In your defense, I forgot I answered as well 😂! We are the same ripe age 😂

@Alec-RemnantPerformance Any news on this update that you mentioned?

Thanks!
Yes Sir! We are finishing up the new turbine housing design. We will be removing the twin scroll from the design and this time around, both 2 and 6 port will be made of the D5S material. This change will give us an additional 22.6% interior volume. As for spool, I am definitely not worried about initial or transient boost response because we have definitive evidence that the 65 OMEGA currently spools roughly 300rpms faster than the stock turbo 😂.

Great to hear! Is it too early to ask when this will apply to online orders?

We won’t have the new production housings for 2 & 6 Port until March. That said the current housing is good enough to run high 8’s in the 1/4 with all supporting mods and the new housings will be available for any existing 65 OMEGA turbo kit customers for around just ~$300-$400. The other piece of good news is that swapping the housing will only take about 1.5hrs and you won’t have to remove the turbo or disconnect any of the coolant lines or the oil feed line. The oil return line is simply disconnected from the block by removing the billet fitting from the block and you lift the turbo up and then just disconnect the VBand holding the CHRA to the turbine housing and off it comes!! Super easy to accomplish!

The steering shaft is in the way, need some modifications to make it work. I have come too far to back out now.

Sup Bro?!! Did your guys try my suggestions? Is the shaft in the way or just the heat shield for the steering column or the actual column? I never got a reply on IG.

It’s the same car yes. I had suggested they loosen the bolts in the back o the compressor housing and slightly turn it towards the fender. That’s it. Looks like it was about 3mm off. Everything else fit up exactly the same according to the pictures and confirmation
