Tried out map 4 with the jb4 on e30, here are the logs…

Ah yeah okay, you definitely need to do your duty biases then... catless will make JB4 run like shit otherwise. I really wish BMS would make this info more well known but they don't want to be involved in any emissions related stuff since they're in Cali.

start with these. get me a map 2 log from 2500 to redline (3rd or 4th gear) and one shift up.

by the way, this is the majority of work that is provided in a custom tune like Jesse does. It can take some time and iterations to dial in perfectly.

Throttle is starting to look a lot better ?
The 3rd gear pull is the first pull on the graph sorry it grouped a bunch together

cleaning up, yeah. just keep dropping duty bias by a couple in areas where there is closure until its pretty minimal. excluding during spool, normal.

It just looks to be too much boost. Your car wants to run a lot of boost already, so 21 psi is just too much without ethanol. So either swap to map 1 or put a gallon or two of E85 in

You want to see ign1-6 climb linearly to redline. usually at least 10 degrees or more as you get towards redline.

I’ll start out in map 2 since we got that dialed in a little better. Now if I do decide to switch to any other map am I going to have to go in and adjust the duty bias and ff again or will the settings save across all maps?

• Duty bias values are global so they affect all maps. (absolute targeting only - map 4 and 5)
• FF value is saved PER MAP.

Here are the logs for the adjustments we made and 2 gallons of e. It grouped a bunch together for some reason again but if you zoom all the way out I’m the pull is the 6th spike.
