the part i dont understand is the spy photos feature a car with 20 inch wheels why would they go up in size from the standard 19's?? also all of the spy photos show it running on cup2 tires and its definitely sitting lower. i'm not guessing or speculating on anything this car will come with until toyota launches it officially but i'm on the top of the list at my local dealer for whatever this car ends up being. if its a flop i'll let it go home with the next guy!

He is probably talking about the upgraded diff cover cooling fins, which are def not a diffuser. Would be nice if people commenting like they know things, actually know things.

Fronts are 19" and rears are 20". Fronts have to be 19 or the 395mm rotors and calipers would not fit. Rears being 20" probably just for looks.

Could be a BMW thing. M3 runs 19 front and 20 rears. I don’t believe Toyota has run staggered diameter wheels for any of their cars before.

Base M3/4 have an 18" option too, but that is because the M calipers with 380mm rotors JUST fit under 18's.

The TOMs blue car=/= GRMN.

Toyota wouldn't just slap on TOMs parts and call it a special editon.

Okay looked back only the wing. Still don't see how this suggesting more track focus car. When they literally post modded cars on their media pages. They have since the first SEMA show. They had custom supras ie targa top etc. Did that suggest a targa was in the pipeline? No

If you can't get the connection, just drop it. Blame Toyota for not making it so obvious. Hell, they should have placed a GRMN sticker on the commercial rather than TOM'S. Not everyone can connect the dots...

The targa was off limit from the get-go because of the Z4.
