I like the stance of a moderately lowered Supra but they are just too hard to live with on a road car day to day basis. Everything becomes more risky and complicated. Speed humps, parking, getting in and out. Then there's the inevitable issues with other stuff people experience here. I've installed lowering springs and now the car does XYZ or sounds like this or throws this code, not to mention the affect on suspension travel. No, lowering is something I'll pass on myself for a road car. Just sayin.

I've had lowered cars before and no issues. The Supra is my car for when I'm alone and want to pretend race car, so I don't mind if it feels pretty stiff and I need to creep over speed bumps. I have other cars for when I don't want to bother with that. I got this car just for fun and light modding to play mechanic.

If it was my only car or I expected to drive the family or people around in it, I wouldn't lower it, to your point. I agree. I also understand that some people don't want to mess with the original engineering. I have another car I feel that way about and won't be modding.

Understood, but that’s why the more subtle options are perfect! The euro Eibach kit looks fantastic.

Euro Eibachs for me and zero issues. It looks amazing - huge transformation of the looks of the car from that one small mod alone. Yes, it’s stiffer and I go slowly over driveways, etc but this is my fun car so it’s ok. My daily driver is only barely lowered, and I wouldn’t want to have to be careful with it on the daily commute or shuttling kids to soccer, etc.

Also depends on the area you live in. I’ve spent plenty of time in the UK and US and some cities would be fine and others would be awful with a lowered car or stiff springs.

Eibach z4 spec is the most conservative drop and ride feels more or less oem. I've had them on for over 2 yrs without any issues. Without a lip the only way you'd scrape is if you enter/exit straight and not at an angle. Even with stock suspension you want to go at an angle anyway. I think it's worth it for some handling improvement and the looks. This car just look great with minimal wheel gap.

I can’t imagine not being lowered honestly. I LOVE the look of the car now. Even Whiteline is a pretty subtle drop and totally changes the car. I couldn’t ever be stock height and I live around some of the worst roads in the US (NH).
