I don't get it.. splicing into 2 exising wires is the easiest part of the install.. who cares about some OEM plug and play connector.. it's not like you're wiring up a HU or ECU.. just get that lower freq horn on there.
Some people like PnP solutions. I'm one of those people.

Some of us are fine spending $8 on a PnP solution vs hacking up oem wiring.

If there is no solution I have no issues splicing, just like the new brake light and trailer wiring that looks stock. However if there is a solution and the car is parked for the winter, I have no issue waiting for an $8 part. I’m not that hard up for the cash to care.

Another update.
Have a perfect plug and play, modern horn!
Running both Fiamm 72102 (High) + 72112 (Low) with a splitter.
Will need a center bolt/nut to hold the included brackets to fit onto stock mount (not included).
Will mount onto car 2mrrw, see how it fits.

Not needed, plus you only need the lower freq horn. There is a screw hole on the crash beam on the opposite side of where the factory horn is located. Just mount your new horn there. I don't even remember whether I needed to make a bracket or not, but it's super easy to do.

If you can get past removing and re-installing your front bumper without damaging it, you're 95% on your way to a successful install. That is how easy the horn portion is. Some of you folks are making a simple HS kid weekend project into a task..

if you get the bmw low pitch horn as Andrew4Supra provided in his previous posts, it will mount perfectly on the passenger side with a M6 hex head flange bolt.
the bracket for the bmw low pitch horn was made for the passenger side.
all you gotta do next is wire it in.
removing the bumper is suuuuper easy...just time consuming with 50+ mounting screws to remove...and replace.
plus you'll have easy access to everything once the bumper is removed.
tried the wheel well access method but that was cumbersome working in a small enclosed area.
just take it off.
i am puzzled too. :)

Nice! This is what I'm going to do.

And to make it prettier, I'm going to make it plug and play, that means I'll get two 12-52-7-601-023 socket housings, and one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GZB1M47 and make it into a 1-to-2 splitter, with one extra-long end that can reach the passenger side.

Can the Fiamm horn also be mounted with this?

and can a 25 mm length bolt work? Couldn’t find a 20 mm length

sorry, i haven't seen the FIAMM horn bracket so i'm not sure about that fitment.
you could always MacGyver something for that though. :)
the bracket that comes with the bmw low pitch horn will only fit on the passenger side.
if i remember correctly, i don't think you have enough room for the 25mm length bolt unless you remove the headlight.
just cut the bolt shorter.

I just came on here to ask about the ridiculous, emasculated horn, then came across this thread, lol. I'll have to read through it to see what the best options are because this is just embarrassing, lol!

Welcome! It's not a hard job once the bumper cover is off. Just don't overthink it and take advantage of the parts links on this thread.
Regards!!!
