Finally my car has a real horn as of tonight!

I had my go to bmw mechanic order an oem low pitch bmw z4 horn. The front bumper did have to come off as others mentioned. Quite easy to do. If others want part numbers, let me know.

Wow what a difference!

Was this plug and play or was there some custom fabrication involved?

~ This was virtually a plug and play. The mounting hole is already in place near the existing horn.

If you order the bmw parts below… this makes things easy with the secondary horn plug harness and wires. You’ll have to splice into the original horn wiring with the new bmw wiring. Add shrink wrap to the 2 connection wires and you’re finished with the install. Quite easy as a diy. With the removal of the bumper, horn install and reinstall of the bumper… it took about 1.5 hours.

If you need more detailed pics please feel free to pm me.

Alright thanks man I appreciate. Still debating if I want to go this route or the Hella Supertone route. I want to make sure I'm heard when I honk 😅
