Boostlogic non valved with stock dp is goated ?

If the NZ cars' valves work like the AU ones, you're better off going with a non-valved exhaust. For downunder it looks on paper to not upset our testing station people valves closed, then full straight pipe 3.5" on a catted DP should be quite, ahem, lively (wondering if it's too droney/loud with a catted DP..).
On a side note, which intake is that? I was nervous the catback exhaust would be too loud to hear the intake anymore lolRecorded a new video since my helper recorded the last one in vertical and youtube automatically turns those into shorts.
This is AWE Touring Resonated with a stock downpipe.
And I've posted this before but here are some revs:
It's the MST v2. You'll have no problem hearing it over the exhaust unless you go with something ridiculously loud.On a side note, which intake is that? I was nervous the catback exhaust would be too loud to hear the intake anymore lol
People that have the AA love it, especially paired with the downpipe. Touring w/ resonator is not that loud. But everyone has different opinions..Does anyone have the Active Autowerke's Catback with the Catted DP? If so, any complaints? Such as drone, valve rattle, etc.
I feel like I'm mostly leaning Towards AA, then Dinan if not. If I went non-valved, I'm 99% certain I'd go AWE, but I'm hesitant even the touring with resonators would be a little too rowdy? But part of me is still considering them in the back of my mind lol
With a downpipe + Borla on my car now, they did a pretty good job with the drone. In normal mode there is NONE. In sport, with the valve open there is the slightest amount. The only one who does it better is AWE. Crazy how AWE is louder and has less drone. Highly recommend both setups! After watching this video, I have high respect for Borla guy who was interviewed in this video. Many exhaust manufacturers fail to mention drone abatement technology. This guy talks about why it is important.
Thanks for your input. I had a Borla catback, 20 years ago on my C5. The sound was very impressive and never irritating at high engine speeds. With a downpipe + Borla on my car now, they did a pretty good job with the drone. In normal mode there is NONE. This one has a cool collector type thing in the 3.5" pipe under the car and then the Atak muffler has a resonator and muffler built into it. Just isn't quite as loud as AWE. Both companies spent some serious time on their systems. Thanks for your input. I had a Borla catback, 20 years ago on my C5. The sound was very impressive and never irritating at high engine speeds.
This is a good video, but a few things. After watching this video, I have high respect for Borla guy who was interviewed in this video. Many exhaust manufacturers fail to mention drone abatement technology. This guy talks about why it is important.

That's great to hear! Thank you for the response! Tough choice, but sounds like there may not be a "wrong" choice with these 2!People that have the AA love it, especially paired with the downpipe. Touring w/ resonator is not that loud. But everyone has different opinions..
