Tuned on e50. Only happens after sitting for a bit (6+ hours). Otherwise, it starts smoothly. Anything I could check or be worried about?

Trying to figure out what you are worried about.

Looks acceptable to me but then again I grew up starting cars with a manual choke where your job was to convince the engine it needed to start running so I don't expect perfection on every start.

Mine does that when running e30/50 blends. Something with the ethanol that makes it crank a little longer on cold start.

That started happening to me after I replaced the spark plugs. Or maybe I started realizing the difference once I did that.

Is it really okay that it starts like that or is tuning that to make it better necessary? I’m running the 93 ots mhd map

Ethanol is notoriously a little harder to start, especially in temps below freezing. In winter, the FlexFuel GM trucks crank much longer and idle rough for the first 10-20 seconds if E85 is in the tank. It doesn't vaporize well at cold temps, so liquid fuel is in the combustion chamber.

Mine sounds sort of like that on cold start. I thought it was my dash cam draining battery-so I fully charged by my battery and tried again -wasn't battery/low battery issue. Do you use 5W30? I used 5W30. OEM suggests 0W20.

My car starts like this if parked outside overnight or parked for more than 2 nights consecutivel indoors. It was like that when my car was bone stock and still does it after tuned. Always seemed a bit strange to me.

I can echo this. Mine is basically stock, I just have bolt ons with no tune on pump premium 91 fuel and when I start my car after it has sat for 2 days or more the intial fire up sounds like the car is struggling to start for about 1 full second and then it fully turns over. Always been that way since I took delivery of that. I’ve always thought that was weird too but haven’t worried about it too much.
