@Thraxbert The Spotify SDK should return the error about why it can't talk to the Spotify app, usually it's due to a modded Spotify version or sometimes security restrictions on certain phones. Maybe OnePlus is keeping Spotify shut down in the background too hard? Hard to say, every Android is different

Might be an OP security policy. Logcat says this when hitting the button:

Found a workaround. Put the Spotify app into the foreground as a floating window, so it's not a "background activity," then hit the Authorize button in AAIdrive. Works now.

I have exactly that one. I can send you a pic of my EQ settings! The stock EQ doesn't sound great on the MMI

Welp I emailed the dev (they are now in the thread ) a year ago i think, the project was dead for the supra then. But very glad it is alive again!

I tested a fork for Walter Huf last night.
If you load up Bimmercode and search for ENTWICKLER_MENUE in the headunit and change it to Aktiv, you gain pretty much the same functionality as BMW/Mini
Note you'll need to use the APK here for now: https://bimmergestalt.s3.amazonaws....e-latest-j29_as_bmw-mapbox-sentry-release.apk
I'd strongly recommend waiting for the app update to get pushed.
Edit: I'd highly recommend supporting the project if you can - there's a "buy me a coffee" link in the repo
It's a whole lot cheaper and easier than buying an MMI box ;D

Where is ENTWICKLER_MENUE located in the bimmercode?

@Yabai I find the setting in BimmerCode under the Headunit ECU, then enable Expert Mode, and then use the magnifying glass to search for ENTWICKLER_MENUE

Finding the balance of convenience and tracking personal data was always my preference for Apple. I tried turning off Siri and the phone became a useless brick. Shows how little (knowledge &) control I really have. Carry on ? ?

I had fairly bad luck with other kits, but this one just worked.

I'm glad this thread just popped up for me. I just switched back to Android after suffering with an iPhone for 3 months and this looks awesome. I already have an MMI, but being able to control my music with the steering wheel controls make this worth it alone. Not having to go into airplane mode and connect with BM3 just to see exactly how many gallons I have in the tank to calculate E85 percentages is huge too.

Also +1 to @hufman for having an analytics free version on Github

I switched the Google Play version to be nonalytics a few months ago, it reduced how many privacy forms needed to be filled out in the store
