DCM/Data Communication Module Update.

I got a letter today from Toyota on this. It says Certain 2020-2023 will not connect to the wifi and there the emergency services will not be available.

I wonder if they do other updates or just the DCM?

Has anyone had this and I wonder how you find out what Certain models it pertains to.

I looked down the list and missed any post and don't think I am first, as I look around before I post. So there is that. And I have been on here for a few years.

Yea I got it done few weeks ago at the dealership, It took like 2hrs im sure the update was pretty quick but you know the dealers they like to take their sweet time on everything.

Yes, I asked them how long it would be. 1 to 1.5 hours. But most likely 2 like for you.

I read about the update on this forum and took my Supra to the local Toyota dealership. It took just a few minutes less than 3 hours, but they did the update. Ironically, I got the letter update letter from Toyota last week.

Your car is smarter then you think, probably already have all of your information anyway in the dealership system so why are you worried.
