Yes, it was those nuts holding on the brackets.

The nuts are backordered from Toyota so I purchased some from BMW (P/N 31 30 6798572), put them on with loctite and double nutted them to be extra safe.

Lesson here is always replace those nuts when you're replacing the bar, don't reuse them.

I also now have a front end clunk after going off track this weekend.

The spinning bearing at the top of the spring has some sort of resistance/friction happening, so when I turn the wheel it will start to add rotational force to the spring and then after a little more turning the wheel, the spring will clunk and the bearing will spin to its proper position. Figured I'd post in here in case anyone else ever dives in this thread with the same clunking.

I'm going to open it up this weekend and see why it's not turning as freely as it should

So my recent “clunk” (up front passenger side) was my camber plate having some wiggle room, getting loose. Tightened up, problem solved.

Does anyone know the torque spec on these nuts? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Well if I end up getting a clunk that will be the first thing I check. I reused mine when I swapped my front sway bar out but I've put a good amount of miles on the car without issue.

I'll actually just double check them when I change brake fluid out tomorrow just to be sure. Maybe loctite them just in case

If it’s a bolt you’re never going to remove, totally agree. Do you use red Loctite if never going to remove it or blue?

I never actually remembered to check when I had my car in and I changed out brake fluid unfortunately but still no issues.

Red loctite is stronger than blue

You can use Permatex Orange, which holds somewhat like red but can still be removed with hand tools. It's specifically advised for NVH resistance, especially automotive.
