Why am I rubbing?

Lowered on Eibach US Pro kit, 15mm rear spacers with ZL1 Rock Chip Guards. Only rubbing on the rear and I’m not sure why? I’ve gotten alignments and its stock wheel and tire specs. I’ve been told that this set up would not cause rubbing and be a good flush fitment. I really like how the fitment is but the rubbing seems to be getting worse. Any help’s appreciated!

My first thought is to remove the 15mm spacer and see how it goes.

My 2nd thought is to remove the rear wheels and look where it's rubbing in the wheel well.

If it's the metal of the fender or the inner plastic inside, it's probably your spacer as the wheel is pushed too far outward.

Agree with Percy. You should be able to see the rubber on the fender where it’s rubbing. You can try removing the spacers if it’s hitting the outer fender or add more negative camber.

Or your lower subframe is misaligned from the factory - it happens on many cars.

I’ll do this to see where it’s rubbing, my confusion was mainly that I saw this exact set up recommended with no rubbing. So I wonder if I installed it wrong or anything like that.

Hmm, I’ve never heard of this. Would it just be recommended to take it to a shop? I’ve never worked on suspension before so these lowering springs were my first attempt. I’ve also ran this set up for about 10 months, been rubbing occasionally ever since but only now have I decided to try and fix it.

It must be the rear rock guards, when I removed mine it stopped.

I also have rubbing due to the aftermarket rock guards. (I need to take them off and modify them) You may be having the same issue where if so, you should see the rub marks on them.

Yup, it's rubbing on the rock guards. Trim off the top and you'll be good to go

After I lowered my car I was also rubbing on the rock guards. It was mainly rubbing on the top screw of the guards and chewing up the tires. I just ended up taking the rears off but with the Eibach kit you should be able to just trim the rear rock guards and get by.

Are you on stock size tires and wheels?

I had the same problem with rubbing with screw+spacer when the rear wheel was compressed. I am aftermarket wider wheels with wider tires. I ended up taking rock guards off but I am compelled to try trimming it to see if I can get them to not rub.
