Yea just adjusted it a little bit ago. I think it’s at around 1pm now? It’s a little lower than the default. I went for a small drive after, and changing gears is a lot better/smoother. Not sure if I can feel a whole lot of difference in hp, need to go for another quick drive.
smoother + not slower is still better

Do you have a Dragy or a dyno?

Could do pulls on a dyno with and without.

Or do a 60-120 run with the Dragy.

If there is a difference in dyno or Dragy then may be your butt dyno is broken ?

My butt dyno definitely was broken. It feels a bit more powerful at 3pm, but shifting is not smooth at all. At around 1pm it feels a lot better shifting but not as powerful. I don’t mind the slight power decrease, but I feel like I’m not getting as aggressive downshifts after installing the JB+. Could just be placebo, but I feel like before installing it downshifts were a lot more aggressive and my pops/burbles were louder. The only other real performance mod I have is the AA Catted DP. After engine cools down I might actually go down to 12pm, that might be the sweet spot for me.

Does anyone have any tips to get the cable off the tmap sensor before putting the JB+ on?
Having a really tough time removing the cable even with the white latch unclipped properly

Well after starting this thread... I have finally given in now that I’m over 1500 miles. Appears the hiccups are no longer. Installed today.

Unfortunately I have a ‘rain delay’ for my test drive. ?

Did you happen to have a hard time getting the stock plug off? Any tips to removing it?

Yes, it took a little elbow grease. Be careful, there is a video online that tells you to remove the wrong one and I was struggling with that one first, then figured it could not be that hard and looked up a different video and realized it was the wrong plug, but they look exactly alike.

This is a pic off of the JB+ install guide that I've drawn on. Pull the #1 tab out. Squeeze #1 down and pull the connector off gently while lightly sticking the pick tool in between the male and female connectors at #2. It came off VERY easily. Don't try to force anything.

You actually are a saint, this method is how i got mine installed just now, took way less time.

It's currently on around 3-3.5 psi setting based on each 'pip' being .5 psi

Thanks!

I ended up using the pick tool method and it was a world easier to install

After running it today for the first time after install, I immediately got a CEL and the car acted like it was about to stall and started surging. after removing it immediately went back to normal again.

Contact BM support to see if I got a dud unit

Did they fix it? IIRC someone had the same problem and needed a software update

Yes there is indeed a firmware flashed onto its eeprom that's on the board. I noticed mine came with max setting and an extra chip on the side where other photos on the forum showed a resistor. They have sent a new unit that arrives on Monday and I will test and let everyone know how it goes again. Hoping to have no issues on the second.

My JB+ has been flawless for over 3 years. I left it at the stock setting.
Awesome! Mine came with it on the max setting, I'm guessing yours had it moved down a bit?
