Hey guys,

I figured I should chime in as not many 6MT guys have yet. Here is my first 60-130 attempt on my new setup with zero tuning changes, this was done on BM3 OTS 91 Tune. I know my car easily has a 7.7-7.8 in it as it is, I'm just waiting for the snow to melt to really see what it can do before getting a proper tune.

For comparison's sake, before putting the turbo in, I had a best of 9.6 (60-130) on the same BM3 OTS 91 tune and a best of 9.0 (60-130) on the BM3 OTS E50 Tune. I know some guys can get into the 8's on E50 but my DA at the time just wouldn't let me push into the 8s.

Given these results, I highly recommend slapping in a bigger turbo that doesn't run out of breath up top and you'll easily see a 1.5-2 second decrease on your 60-130 on the same tune (assuming your new turbo utilizes the factory wastegate).

Other Power Mods:
CTS Intake
MST Turbo Inlet
VRSF Catless DP
FTP Charge pipe
Femto Unlocked ECU
Tuned on BM3 (Bootmod3)
6280 "Hybrid" Turbo (Stock location)

Not yet. But it will go on the Dyno early 2025.
I'd like to get a clutch in before it hits the rollers to see what it makes as is and then get a custom flex tune.

My butt dyno says the car is making around 550whp, 560-580wtq right now. I'll post dyno results whenever I have them.

Went on the Dyno and took a log. 60-124mph was 4.38 seconds. Weird thing is that the Supra only made 529hp and 574 tq. I expected higher numbers.

Drift Motion stage 3
Wagner Manifold with PI w/ 980cc injectors

Dp
Straight pipe
Reflex plus

Tuned by Pureboost.
Not familiar with DM turbos but your dyno numbers look like upgraded 93 turbo numbers but your time is more in line with e40. Weird.

I did hit 115 IAT towards the end, so I don’t know how much heat affected the numbers. I believe that Dyno is reading very low. I used the same Dyno when I was on JB4 Jesse tune, dp, and ethanol and on that same Dyno hp/tq was about 425/450 when people with that same setup were seeing around 500. Plus the runner said I spoils be seeing around 680hp.

that’s very impressive on 91 octane without a custom tune.

What was OAT to hit 115 IAT with upgraded IM?

That’s seems bad. Might wanna check for air in the coolant system.
now that I think about it, the guy kept the hood closed and didn’t have any fans running during the Dyno. But would that account for a loss of that much power?

Definitely a loss of something with those IATs. Would explain why your dragy times aren't matching with dyno numbers per say.
