but why? they look very out of place on a Supra imo.
It’s the “I put so much time into this, I might as well use em before I change them back” effect.

Unless it shaves a second off your lap times or Max Verstappen gave it to you @Gabe ?

It’s a loan. Don’t panic. That’s why I have not shown them before.

They gave them to me to fit testing Because I have a A91. They have an A90 (I don’t own them). I am not convinced. My job is to say what I would change and see how they fit. They manufacture aluminum pieces for cars in miami and want to produce them.

they are too small. They need to be upsized by about 1.2x factor.

these are 3D printed in plastic and flex on road bumps. Mirrors can’t flex. But the final product will be casted in forged aluminum.

I want them to design them with an inner channel for wiring to accommodate a LED directional turn indicator. But that will be unlikely

the actual mirror housing is carbon fiber. The weaving is not great, it’s ok, too small but ok.

my OEM are right there in a box in the garage and they will be back into place but I will get pictures first so people freak out here in the forums.

@FLtrackdays: I can shave more seconds learning to take turns 12 and 13 at homestead than with any set of mirrors I place. ??

Thank goodness. I didn't want to be that guy since, you know, different strokes and all. But…. Those are hideous.

Personally, I love to see all the stuff y’all try out. It’s great to get some perspective before spending my own money. As for these mirrors, definitely not for me.

TA front end package for next year. expecting this to be around 700 lb at 100mph
That looks awesome!
I have a silly question, how do you go about estimating the down force? Do you somehow monitor the suspension travel at some constant vehicle speed and back tracked the down force from that?
I'm super interested in your work!!

Good time to change the horn if you haven’t yet while that cover is off. It’s not that hard to get to from there and not have to take the bumper off.
Appreciate the advice!

That’s the easy part. You’re not impatient or so full of yourself to not listen to multiple points of views & advice. The guys that go out there and drive in “blue” group for years on end, or have a fixed mindset, learn really bad habits. That definitely won’t be you!

When you get your Garmin, it’ll be easy to connect up and go over those turns. Or we’ll just go over the video of it. You’re going to LOVE Sebring!!! Hope you’re able to make Winterfest in Jan w/ NASA. That event is MASSIVE!!!!

Yes. The goal next year is to drive it on the track as much as time allows. I dedicated 2024 to mess up with the car there is nothing left to do for now ?. Now I need to learn to drive it decently, and I’m too old already, I passed the phase when I thought I was a gifted driver ?. Still crunching dates for winterfest at Sebring ….

Installed this little box that takes electricity from the mirror to power the dash cam (front/rear). Not perfect, but I don't see it from the driver’s POV.

Powers off with everything at the 6 min mark.

and put a battery tender, all these gizmos are depleting the battery and I take the car out for 20 min every week. So I needed it.

I wanted to install a fancy mirror/dashcam with side cameras and all, but good tech for it is not there yet. This cam will do for now.

I'll be there at Winterfest. Not sure which car I'll be in. S2000 still isn't fixed yet.
