Ill try to get those custom log parameters for the misfire counter to you before you get the car back out. Hopefully before the weekend is out. So we can try to narrow down the cylinder.I haven't been able to do any testing because we got dumped on with snow. As soon as I can get the car out of the garage I'll update this post.
Thats a very small gap and will do less good than it's worth.
I am assuming you have made a typo here as .22 is getting close to 1/4 inch for imperial and only 10 thousandths of an inch if it's a metric figure you have stated. So assuming it's 0.022" then I would if having misfire issues open the gap to the standard .030" which I believe is the stock gap if for no other reason then to see if it cures the misfire or has a positive affect. A .022" gap seems a little bit tight to me although I see internet recommendations for it.Let me know if you find anything im having the same codes and same issues

At the end of the day when you have an issue and you have an easy no cost option to try like going back to the std plug gap you may as well do it.

Yea, tight plug gaps usually meant you had a substandard ignition system that wasn't coping.Yes I assumed he meant .022
Most of the stuff regurgitating on the interwebs came from an older BMW platform. Some people (including some newer tuners) don't know any better.
