No one would even come talk to me about it today. I do think it looks better in real life than it does in photos, but I do agree the fake vents to stick out

I wish it had of been flat on the floor, I found it hard to get a good feel for the size, especially height, on that angled podium. I was there opening doors Thursday morning, no one was there so they had had to talk to me. They don't know much about it anyway, so you didn't miss much by not talking to them. The Toyota Canada rep is the only one that knows anything, and he set the car up, and won't be back until they remove the car.

In Vancouver I found the one guy working the floor that actually knew something about it and was more then happy to talk to someone who wasn't a complete idiot or was just being super negative. Yakked with him for a good 10mins. Still couldn't get him to open it, they didn't even leave the keys with them.

Had a dealer from Calgary call me today and they still assured me deliveries would still happen end of May/early June.
Also first time hearing about this?

Wednesday I called a different dealer in a nearby city ,and I asked to speak to new sales . I asked him what info they had regarding delivery and availability of the new Supra?
The gentleman said "they are very rare and each dealer in Canada is only getting two".
I then said that the initial model is a fully loaded 3.0 premium that we are getting correct? and he replied "yes its the GT model from Toyota "
That's when I said ok thanks for the info have a nice day and hung up. I have never heard anyone use that term yet -this guy has no clue
I then emailed my dealer that I have a reserved car at and his response on delivery was.

Good morning Tony,
We still do not have any information for you. Toyota keeps telling us
summer release but we have not had any further communication as far as
timelines.
We are extremely excited for the vehicle as I know you are so we will
update you when we have more information.

Thanks,

I do not believe that ANY dealer in Canada has ANY accurate idea when these cars will show up .
The TMC website says "Summer of 2019" I have not received an "update " but I have sent the form request in 10 times.
300 cars multiplied by $1000 deposits (300k) for how many months ?and they don't have the decency of updating those Supra enthusiast's???
Poor public relations IMO. When I see a trailer on Canadian soil with our Supras on its back then I will believe them.
If anyone at Toyota reads this, tell your boss to tell there bosses to tell us SOMETHING concrete ;)

Well I did order it in March 1st , so I guess I will see when they call me to say they have a car. But it was neat I met a forum member at the dealership that day that is no. 2 on the list. Was kinda neat.

Launch Edition cars have arrived at some Toyota dealers in the USA (according to another thread). I wonder if this means cars are arriving earlier than expected? I'm hoping we will receive cars in Canada before Aug. 1

Looks like no phantom grey, which I was promised... HMmm
Yes on the order form it does say "extremely limited availability" beside the colour code for both black and red interiors.
I believe been an early order you should get it.
