This is also Halifax, they look pretty similar.
Haha I saw that same picture and thought the same thing. It's the background in the pictures I can't verify, but, it certainly could be Halifax. There aren't a lot of pictures of the port to compare with. I'm thinking of asking my sister to go there and do some snooping, she lives in that area.
My Google-fu say's it's Halifax, you just can't see the water because of how low the shot is & the vans.
The lights and little ridge (behind the pole) seem to match up.
Nice find! I agree with you. You can also see the exact same crane in the exact same location in the top left of the google map, and the posted picture.
Here's a short video showing the processing of the Toyota Yaris at the Halifax Autoport, for those interested. Gives some idea of what our Supras will be going through.
I was just been told by my dealer that there are 2 supras at the Toronto compound. A red one and a yellow one. So they are coming.
Another photo of the one at cars and coffee.
Look at that ugly front plate. I think I'll take the risk and not use one, when I move back to Toronto....
It seems to me we must be getting the same car as the USA Launch Editions, minus some of the cosmetic touches, such as black wheels, red mirror caps and autographed dash plate. The fact that their LE's and our Premium cars arrived at respective ports around the same time (Long Island; New Jersey; Halifax), and our white and black cars have the red interior (same as their LE), all suggest they were made in the same factory run.
Also, the USA Premium, non-Launch Editions, were not scheduled to be manufactured until May, and available in late August (according to another thread here).
Toronto seems to have two already
Just need some clarification. Is the driver assist package the US have, is that included in our premium model? my dealer said it's full loaded but didn't go into specifics on what's included.
Yes it's included.
That's good to hear. That means our MSRP is "better" than that states MSRP for the premium model. someone just posted in the US fully loaded and taxes is about 77k+ CAD.
Man I want that yellow supra!
I imagine that all the cars will be for sale on the same day for at least Canada, and maybe the same day as the USA. Just as there was a media time and date when the Youtube reviews could be posted. Toyota must have a plan, they are just keeping it all to them selves.
