I gave up and just use Bimmercode to code the default Start in Sport Individual mode. That essentially disables the Start/Stop

Hmm. I’m not near my supra, which is why I am asking the following question — I know that I can toggle what sports mode does in the settings (transmission, handling, etc). If I change the four attributes in the regular mode to ‘sport’ and change the four attributes in sports mode to ‘normal’, am I essentially swapping both modes?
If this is the case, then I’ll also use this approach

There is no Normal Individual, only Sport Individual. You can code it to start in Sport, leave it in Sport at all times, and set the Sport Individual selection screen as a preset to just change whatever you want between Normal and Sport whenever you want.

So after I got the recall on mine for the DCM update the coding out option for the start/stop feature stopped working.

I just have mine now set to start in sport mode and left everything still in sport except transmission that I toggle depending on what I'm doing since I prefer to drive the car in sport anyways. Essentially it feels like I'm just driving around in normal mode since the transmission is still shifting at low rpms instead of holding around 3000. This is what I would recommend unless you wanted to toggle any of the other options but this was my favorite/ideal workaround

Just did this. Works great, will leave it like this until someone makes a dongle to disable ASS, or until hopefully BMW re-enables the option. I do prefer the option of using a button to swap between modes.

I’ve just used one of the presets to bring up sport mod options to change the transmission one on the fly instead of hitting the sport button so it isn’t changing multiple settings unnecessarily.

would like to have a normal mode for daily driving, sport 1 for sport mode but normal dampeners for bumpy roads then Sport 2 for sport dampeners for better roads…

Unfortunately, no. You'll need to buy a real BMW ///M car to have multiple settings (along with cool little buttons on the steering wheel).

Or buy a Cadillac Blackwing which has multiple configurable modes.

Code in the Sport+. Then when you press the mode button, you'll cycle through Normal, Sport Individual and Sport+ (your Sport 2 that has everything maxed out)

Thank you for this. Can sport 2 also be adjusted as I prefer normal steering over sport steering as normal steering has better feedback in my opinion!!

Yes. You can adjust everything in Sport Individual. I don’t have a need since I did not do the latest recall so my start/stop is still coded out with BimmerCode. Theoretically though you could use BimmerCode to start in Sport mode while having sport individual set to normal for everything. The only thing that’s unclear is whether it would apply Sport+ or Sport Individual settings if coded to start in Sport Mode.
