Just FYI, you aren't the first to have this issue with the Remnant manifold.

Also, I am more than happy to stay for drinks tonight. ;)
Haha, if ever you decide to hit the mont tremblant track here I’ll host.

Do you know what the cause of the issues with the other person was?

I appreciate the offer. It's about a 7 hour drive so unless I trailer, probably not in the cards for the near future, although I have been wanting to experience that track.

Other person went to another manifold and the issue went away. I don't know granular details about what was going on.

Are they on here? I’d want to reach out and see what happened

I just realized I mixed up two different brands. It wasn't a Remnant. It was a Doteki. Which isn't surprising since Rich is a low life scam artist and all his stuff sucked shit.

What are your thoughts on the charge air temp? This is 32 PSI, apparently some others charge air temp only goes up to 200ish degrees indicated in the pic

Charge air temp has nothing to do with the mani-cooler.

According to your chart, your IAT is 100F max, when your charge temp is 324F. Your mani-cooler is shedding 224F of heat. However, 300+ charge temp during a single pull is a bit high.

That 16F IAT increase over a single pull is also not normal.

The "Others" you are referencing are running the same turbo and boost?

200F charge temp is like a chill WOT pull in 50F weather.

Here is mine after a 4th gear pull at 28.Xpsi:

I think it depends on how heat soak. If I'm heat soaked, usually if car is sitting for a while after use then I go out and try to do some pulls I'll see a 15 degree increase. When im not heat soak and do several pulls ina row I'll see temps go down again couple degrees at first then slowly climb a couple towards the end.

He's def not heat soaked with a starting IAT of 81F in 68F ambient.

What intake do you have? I ask becuase I just switched from the Armaspeed to CTS, the MST and some others are similar. When I first installed the CTS intake I had the metal piece pushed into the silicone too far towards the turbo and my temps were fine at first but after a couple wots my temps skyrocketed to 120. All I had to do was pull the pipe out of the silicone until about 1/2 inch.

Others are same turbo, same manifold and range from 30 psi to 40psi boost. Mostly 2 port cars

I was told the metal heat shield over the exhaust manifold may be radiating heat and cause the elevated charge temps. Not sure how though

@razorlab I'm starting to think the stock airbox might solve this issue based on my intake setup in the pic. From your experience, would it be a restriction on 700+ whp?
Yes, it was on mine and I don't make that much power. You could custom fab a box for the filter setup you have. This is why I also fabbed up a heat shield for my MAD intake box.

Great idea. I’ll give that a shot.

might be PITA adjusting the WG arm if I need to but I’m willing to take that risk
