Man, that is odd. Must be frustrating as hell.
Getting there, at the moment it's still in the 50s and 60s here so it's not a big deal yet. Hopefully I can resolve it before temps go up, first track day is on the 17th and i've been looking forward to this track for a while, i'll be on pump gas at 22psi.

What kind of IM, possibly return/exchange it as defective

What kind of IM, possibly return/exchange it as defective
It's a remnant IM which typically has great performance, i'm not at the point yet where I can determine that the IM isn't up to spec gonna do one last deep dive, round of bleeds and logs first so I can 100% rule out anything install related.

When i first installed the wagner IM i wasn't getting good cooling. After doing all the bleeding over and over, in the back of my mind I thought I had the coolant lines switch, but also double amd triple checked when I installed them, so I never did anything about it. Later on I switch the lines and now im getting much better cooling. I'd recommend just switch them on the IM side and see what happens.

After doing all the bleeding over and over, in the back of my mind I thought I had the coolant lines switch, but also double amd triple checked when I installed them, so I never did anything about it. Later on I switch the lines and now im getting much better cooling. I'd recommend just switch them on the IM side and see what happens.

Problem is my IM performance isn’t up to spec at the moment. I’m trying to rule out possible issues.

During 4th logs of 2K to 6.8k at 33 psi, ambient is around 60 each time im seeing 16-19f rise in IAT over baseline.
wait so this isn’t normal?

16-19F IAT rise during a single gear pull is not normal at all. It should be the same, rise maybe 2-3* or drop, depending on ambient temps and usage.

oh i didn't read his other thread about it being single pulls. all i read is him saying during his 4th log he saw 16-19 over ambient.

do you know how and what they're using to bleed it with? i used a harbor freight one at first but it didn't create a proper vacuum so i ended up using my shop one which looks like this.

That may not be the exact brand, but something like that yeah

interesting. im assuming they bled it more than once? when i was bleeding it, i vacuum bled the low temp side about 4 times. then did the in car procedure stuff

Interesting you had to do it so much.

I do vac fill, then the car procedure and am good to go.

81f - 2500 rpm

99f - 6870 rpm
