I'm currently using the Liqui Moly Special Tec LL SAE 5W-30 oil. I saw on Amazon that they have The Top Tec 4200 SAE 5W-30.

I'm about to do an oil change, and was wondering what would be best out of the two oils. Also open to other oil suggestions.

Purchase both. Put in 6 qts of top tec and 5 qts of special tec. That way you’re covered in case you have extreme oil consumption issues. Also, seriously?

You know what, Since I'm bored I'll respond instead of flame.
With Texas heat, buy a reasonably priced LL01 5w40 or an oil with a HTHS range of 3.5–4.0 cP. The higher the better. If you want the best of the best and price isn't an issue buy HPL euro 5w40.

I read that liqui moly is average at best and overpriced for what you're getting. Not necessarily a bad oil, but why overpay for the "MADE IN GERMANY" logo and all that bullshit marketing? Better off getting a Walmart brand that would perform just as good, but whatever its your money to piss away.
I use Motul 8100 X-Cess gen2 for its ester blend.

Also, Instead of asking here, I'd ask the oil nerds over at

Naw, just watch some influencer YouTube videos, ask ChatGPT, or ask a salesperson at an oil company. All super legitimate sources with zero ulterior motives to their answers. Then post here like it's gospel, and dismiss any actual manufacturer published documents or real world oil tests.

Just use the special tec 5w-30. I used it and so far it feels good.
