Has anybody recently had issues over the past one to two months with Spagesport in Waterloo CA? Are they somehow suddenly out of business? Has anybody else had any issues with orders from this company?

I figured a company that has provided parts for Jackie Ding would be considered at least moderately reliable. I placed an order for some simple carbon fiber, fender vents for my tracked supra a month ago. Initially their communication was maybe once a week letting me know initially there was a small delay as the vents needed to repolish whatever that means. I have yet to receive any kind of tracking information, contact from a shipping company and still no fender events a month later. When I try and contact Spage, whether it be through their own website, contact portal, via their [email protected] email. It says my email will not go through and they have yet to send a response in the last 3+ weeks.

And of course, there is no phone number on their website or way to get in touch with them.

Sounds like a chargeback is in order. Then you buy vents from @rwense
PayPal has already refunded the shipping cost they charged me. It’s in dispute with the Credit card co now for the cost of the vents.

Just wanted to A) ask if anyone else has had recent issues with Spage to make sure it’s not just me. B) ensure no one else/no other Supra owner has to go through this kind of headache and is treated right C) start gathering ideas on other vent options.

Spage is def known for taking eons to deliver.

Also, just so people don't get confused. Spage is in Canada, not California.

@RWDriver89 , @Awad can train you on how to do these, if you need help. I heard if you don't do them properly the company can dispute it and could possibly win the case. Awad has never had this happen - it's like he has a degree or something for it. Definitively check with him before you start.

Luckily I received my vents from them, but it took three months. And in between the time of placing the order and receiving the vents, I had received just one e-mail with a status. I e-mailed them three or four times with no replies, then the vents magically appeared.

I’ve personally ordered from them. It can take up to almost a year to get a part from them (varies depending on the product). Their customer service sucks. It’s not easy getting in contact with them after trying to myself. I also had to do some minor repairs on my hood after receiving it from them. Started peeling, fray, and chipping at the ends. I do get it’s not easy to transport a hood especially from Canada to Florida. (Initially got damaged 1st trip but Spage took it back and repaired it immediately). Their quality is top tier though. I ordered through PhD racing so I was in communications with Jackie and he was in communication with Spage although I had to contact them for anything personal. Alex at Spage does good work for sure. Carbon fiber work can be very labor intensive after all.

Hit the nail on the head… not impressed.

I can understand if parts of high quality and high labor take time to arrive; but when you email saying it’ll be shipped out next week then it’s two-three weeks later and you don’t communicate its not a good look for how you run your business.

Yeah. Im not too sure if I'd buy from them again. Considering the price you pay and what you can get. Would've been nice to get in contact with Alex or one of their fabricators for all my questions too.

From all the track guys I have spoken to about Spage, I will never order anything from them.

Sooo… now this happened.

I spent some time conferring with both PayPal and my credit card company on what’s been going on. I have, as of this morning, received my money back…

two hours later, I get an email from Spage saying they’re on the way… of course… Haha
