New Supra owner, first time getting a car wrapped so apologies on my ignorance. I know Supras are one of the most difficult cars to wrap well, especially handcut. Could I get your option on how they did please? Overall it looks great but wanted to manage my expectations on some of the seams and edges, if this is as expected when it comes to wrapping.

Apologies if changing the contrast does it a disservice but found it that it makes it easier to see the wrap lifting a bit. Plus side is that they did a really great job not knifing the car.

Firstly, no matter what car you take to get wrapped or PPF'd, it's "one of the most difficult cars to wrap." Secondly, the whole industry is a fucking rort.

And is that PPF or did you wrap the car the same colour as the paint?

If you just ignore the edges and corners, it’ll make you feel better. But the main concern is that once dust get in there, they gonna start peeling, and then you can’t ignore anymore.

It's technically a color ppf, in a different color as the paint.

That's what I was mostly afraid of, I appreciate the confirmation :(

They may have used a pre-cut kit from one of the software programs and applied it that way but after looking at it closer in the pics it looks like they cut it by hand. I’ve been shopping around the ATL area, and man it’s gotten pricey. Lowest I’ve received for just the front end is $1,700 (that was at Tint World Duluth GA), and full car coverage from the higher-end shops is creeping up toward $5K. Definitely not the cheap.

$7800 to change the car color? Why not have it sprayed? Or, here’s a thought, buy a color you like to begin with. 🤪

Honestly, did not consider spraying an option. I do like the original color and wanted to preserve it so ppf seemed like the way to go. And if ppfing it, might as well pick a color that's not a standard option, at least in the beginning. First time doing this so learned a lot, at the cost of my wallet.

Assuming OP got a new car, since he's dropping $7.8k on a wrap, Toyota no longer offers any gray color for new Supra in the US. Also it doesn't feel too good to re-spray a brand new car.

Anyways to OP, I wouldn't ask them to re-do the wrap. They probably wouldn't be able to do any better, might as well save some effort and time. Also risks paint damage again for all those nice looking handcuts.

Apparently it is less expensive to just have dinks repaired if they can match the paint? I am not going to PPF mine after I found out the local guy drives peoples cars without their permission.
