Pricing is up now on Tirerack. Not much more than the current RS price point.

Hopefully prices will come down after they’ve been on the market for a while.

$43/tire more than current RE’s for the size I use. Ugh
How many 30 minute sessions do you typically get out of a set of RE71RS?

funny thing is as a dealer, the RZ are actually cheaper to buy in our sizes.

also to note, I see limited inventory on the RS so I bet they are flushing them out to make the RZ as a full time replacement.

Yes, the RZ is replacing the RS, just like the RS replaced the R before it..........

Def going to be pace/track/driver/setup dependent but I get about 3-4 full days before they drop off from heat cycling out. The nice thing is they don't turn into liabilities like Nankang CRS do when they heat cycle out, the RE's just get slower.

Day one is magic with the RE's. I constantly chase the dragon after day one.

Looking forward to seeing how they perform. The R71 RS were so confidence inspiring on my Cayman 981. No experience driving a Supra yet.

If it can live up to the marketing claims, this is the GOAT, The RS is already the current performance leader in so many metrics, even against TW 100 like the Supercar 3R.

Finding the Best All-Around Competition Tire – 2025 Test 4F
Def take that test with a grain of salt since it's stock camber on a 38XXlb car, etc. That is why the A052 did so poorly, and why the P1 (yuck) and RE71RS did so well. The P1 has a very very stiff sidewall.

In no real world where a car is setup correctly is the A052 slower than all the tires that beat it in that test.

A052 is still the hero lap king with proper camber iirc. Problem is they have 3 laps in them per session before they get greasy. Or maybe thats just my shit driving

Ouch yeah it's +40 per tire on 285/19's. I guess I'm so use to everything being 20% more and health insurance eating my a$$ this next year that 40 bucks seemed reasonable.

Yes, the A052 is more of a tuner’s tire, requiring proper suspension and wheels setup to get the most out of it.

I guess this is where the 71RS shines so brightly. Setting out anazing lap times for cars on stockish suspension.
