Hard to find a good answer on this searching around since suspension, wheel, tire, and alignment setups are so subjective. I have a set of BCF HCS02s being built, should be shipping soon, and I need to buy tires. I plan to run 200tw tires and the car will see track time on this setup for about year before I get a dedicated square setup.

Specs
19x9.5 +25 F
19x11 +38 R

Tires
RE71rs or equivalent 275/35/19 F, 305/30/19 R

I intentionally went a little less aggressive with offsets to accommodate the wider 200tw tires. Car will be lowered on euro eibachs with verus camber plates up front. Alignment will be set to -2.5 camber up front (or whatever the plates will give me) and whatever the max camber the stock adjustment in the rear will give me with a little toe in.

So, do you think I will have rubbing issues with this setup? Should I step down the tire width in the front?

I have roughly the same offset wheels. Eibach euro springs. 275/35/19 on the front rubs on turns where you're also going uphill a bit (like a driveway). Now I have 305/35/19s in the rear which rubs a bit on bumps - plenty of people have 30's and are typically fine.

My long awaited coilovers are out for delivery as of today...so I can finally get rid of the rubbing (plus never loved the eibach spring feel). In hindsight 265/35 in the front and 295/35 in the rear would have been the move.

Thanks, that was what I was worried about. Is the rub in the front on the strut? What tires are you running?

Not a Corvette.
Those springs are pretty soft, so you could rub the upper liner on compression in front, depending on track, your speed, etc.

Crazy how no one can use the search function on the forums or even google anymore
If we went by what exists in search/google we'd have like 3 posts a day on this forum. The whole point of the forum is it provides people to ask specific questions about their specific car (and also provide updates on what they've done/pictures...)...even if their question may only be 5% different than a similar question asked 3 months ago and another time 12 months ago. Also...asking a question again results in people who didn't see the original thread(s) responding.

So I'll grant obviously people should search but who really cares if there are some re-posts every day this forum isn't overwhelmed with new content/activity. (Half the threads have someone saying "just search" and its annoying)

Will be sure to tag you on all the new 'which oil' and 'which downpipe' threads then!

Why didn't you help answer the new girls question?

Very kind of you. You'll notice I did answer the question before your post, but you were too busy trying to snap back.
