Does this require sending the dme in or anything? I was told that all supra except for the LE's require bench unlock...

depends on your ROM. LE's and some of the early Premiums and Base got lucky with early production and didnt get hit with dealer update. we are working on a solution for that. But right now if you are one of the unlucky ones, it will need a bench flash to roll the ROM back to the early one to re-enable OBD2 flashing.

Thanks, I don't want to do a bench flash.... so, will this be fixable without that?

are you sure you have the new dealer locked ROM? If you do, right now the only way is a ROM rollback which requires connection to the actual ECU. Until we/someone figures out the workaround for the new lock via OBD2, that will be the only way to enable OBD2 flashing on unlucky ones.

This is no different than any other car that needs a bench flash. We been doing them for years.

Awesome! Could you elaborate on the above points, perhaps with a video?

Also, will the Instructions come with an option to adjust how much, for example, Burble I want to set to? Or is this something that'll be adjusted per phone conversations?

Exhaust Overun/Burble adjustments - we can adjust the intensity, duration, rpms that it will activate, and etc. This is the popping and etc you hear when you let of the gas on decel.

Cold start Disable - this will get rid of the high idle when you first start the car. Stock RPM slowly decreases down from say 1500rpms down to idle speed. Some people like this if they have a loud car and /or neighbors close in vicinity.

Exhaust flap adjustments - this is for the valve in the exhaust. Stock form the valve is open in sport mode and some other instances. We can change when its open and etc.

Start-Up Roar Addition - this add a higher blip of rpm at startup. kinda like a roar at you then it drops to normal idle. See video below for what it is on our shop N55 when we were developing it. This function only came on the BMW M4 GTS. Now the Supra actually sounds pretty good at start up as is.

Can you change the 'fart' on gear changes to be a loud, sharp, bang? like a gunshot? and do you support international customers?

I can look into uncovering that on the ECU side. but thats generally on the TCU requesting a timing retard for the shift. I know some people don't like that fart, but it helps shift faster if it means anything to you.

EDIT: yes, we support our customers worldwide.

From my experience I've understood that this was for longevity for the driveline and did nothing to speed up the shifts, if anything it slows it down. The ignition retard was to allow the shift to complete and reintroduce the torque smoothly instead of hitting hard in the next gear putting extra strain on the system.

I could understand an anti-lag setup keeping boost higher but it would still not affect the speed of the shift.

its a mix of a lot of things. the torque reduction is necessary for the trans to shift properly, so that equates to helping longevity. The timing reduction slows engine engine speed just enough and reduce power just enough for the shift. In terms of reintroducing it smoothly, not so much. As the timing pull and reintroduction is blink of the eye fast as to not reduce power of the actually acceleration beyond actual shift times.

These trans, if there is too much or too little torque at the shift, they will not shift right or shift at all if things are off. delayed shifting, shift clunks, slipping and etc.

But i will look into since its something that someone said they wanted. i will always try my best to support all requests.
