Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a BimmerCode method that worked for me to disable the US amber side marker.

Before figuring this out, I searched online—including the SupraMKV forum—but couldn't find a complete BimmerCode solution. I came across a few threads where people were asking how to do it, but I wasn't able to find a working answer. After some trial and error, I finally got it working, so I thought I'd share the steps in case it helps someone else.

This was tested on my 2023 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 MT

Requirements:

● BimmerCode
● Supported OBD adapter

Instructions

1. Open BimmerCode.

2. Select BMW Z4 (G29).

3. Open FLML (Front Light Module Left).

4. Enter Expert Mode.

5. In the Search bar type duty.

6. Change the following parameters to wert_01
LM03_DUTY_CYCLE_BINNING_CLASS0
LM03_DUTY_CYCLE_BINNING_CLASS1
LM03_DUTY_CYCLE_BINNING_CLASS2
LM03_DUTY_CYCLE_BINNING_CLASS3
LM03_DUTY_CYCLE_BINNING_CLASS4

7. Code FLML.

8. Repeat the exact same steps in FLMR (Front Light Module Right) and code it. 👍

IMPORTANT
● Tested on my 2023 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 MT.

● I haven't verified compatibility with other model years or software versions.

● Always back up your coding before making any changes.

Thank you for sharing this. Will be very useful to people. Not sure if I like it or not though…. I’ll have to try it and see it in person.

Just keep in mind if you are pairing this with deleted/covered side reflectors that if you live in a city/state that's really uptight about following traffic safety laws, in most US states it is mandatory to have some at least some kind of side markers/indicators (amber for the front) even with the DRL's on.

I only bring this up because in most parts of Florida, cops and especially state troopers drool profusely thinking of new increasingly stupid reasons to pull people over and hand out tickets.

Thanks for pointing that out—I really appreciate the information.

Fortunately, my Supra is a US-import that I brought to Qatar, where we don't require amber front side markers or side reflectors like in the US. That's why I decided to make this change.

It's definitely something US owners should keep in mind before doing this modification, so thanks again for mentioning it.

I can confirm these settings worked on my car: 2021 Supra 3.0 AT

Thanks @Mayday
That's awesome, thanks for confirming! I really appreciate you taking the time to test it on your 2021 3.0 AT. Hopefully this helps other Supra owners looking for a BimmerCode solution without having to use E-Sys.
