BimmerCode v3.5 is here! Lets see if we can figure out more features!!

No time to watch just yet, does this mean we can finally turn on sport mode indefinitely?

Excellent!!! I've been waiting for the BDC to become available. The next ones I'm waiting for are the FEM and REM to become available.

Thought I would share some cheat sheets for Expert Mode on some of the other cars that Bimmercode works with. I didn't create these sheets, only found them online. It kind of gives you an idea of what things you can do with it. There are a few that I see listed that I would like to have done on the Supra. Some of these parameters might work and some may not, there's not guarantee. I have not confirmed any of them but thought I would share in case someone was looking for more info on this. It's pretty cool to see what options there are out there with this app.

The codes I'm waiting for are the Brake Force Display and also how to Boost Amplifier Power. Supposedly on the Z4, there is a parameter where you can select whether the car is a convertible or hardtop, which will raise/lower the output of the radio system. Of course we currently have hardtop setting enabled, so changing it to convertible setting is supposed to help give the stereo system a bump up in power to help combat the noise associated with having a vert.

Brake Force Display is in the 3.5 release of Bimmercode under the Z4 BDC. Not sure if it actually works for the Supra or not.

Isn't this similar to what we have already in our Supra in the audio settings where you can select volume increase levels relative to speed / road noise?

Your not suggesting this actually raises overall max power rating of the power amp...correct?

tadda, I've been trying to dig that information up to be exactly sure. I came across a thread on a BMW Forum discussing this but can't find the thread anymore so I was hoping someone would chime in with any info or clarification.

The reason why I mention this is I've owned other Verts that also had the feature which increases audio level if top is dropped and functions similarly to sound level feature relative to travel speed found on most other vehicles these days that compensates for road noise....

Sounds like Z4 vert has similar feature....
