Ecutek seems to be the best from a performance standpoint but I’ve heard it can only be loaded on a windows computer, loses the license if you ever flash back to stock, and the installation process is very complicated unlike BM3, i watched a video of someone loading the tune and it was quite intimidating haha
It can only be loaded via a windows based laptop.

You dont lose your licenses flashing to stock. You can flash tunes/stock as many times as you'd like.

Installation process isnt something to tackle on your own with zero experience. This is why we walk our customers through it step by step and remote support if needed (able to control your your laptop for you and you just watch us). Makes it super easy and we've never had any customers have any issues.

What does Ecutek offer that MHD does not? In the end it seems like power and torque come down to boost+fuel+timing. I'm currently running an MHD e50 tune and driveability could not be better. Am I somehow missing out on untapped power only accessible to Ecutek?

Look at it this way, MHD is a flashing and logging tool, period. Although EcuTek is also a flashing and logging tool they also are a map editor. They define and explain how the ECU logic works. They write custom code for custom features where as MHD does not.

Such as remote start activation?

Ecutek provides tuner with a fully defined ECU to edit. MHD does not provide 30k tables to edit. They have a definition floating around that has some stuff but i havent seen any recent ones with the stuff I need. So you need to define it your self as a tuner. So this adds a ton of time needed to R&D a platform, and a ton more cost.

Then ecutek has RaceRom.... Which will be including real time map switching, flex fuel, custom maps, boost by gear, anti lag, and a ton of stuff is in the pipe line. EcuTek cost more because they re-write the oem ECU logic and put in their own custom code.

P.S. I get probably 1-2 emails a week stating that with ecutek you lose your license if you go to stock. Can someone fill me in as to where they saw this? As this is quite un-true.
More like it's tied to your ECU SN vs VIN on some other platforms correct? You can flash between maps (e.g. tuned and stock) ad nauseam but not to a different ECU (even on the same car/VIN).

I hope we get rolling anti lag. Too bad we don't get 2 step LC :( . I'm still privy to being obnoxious at times.

It happens. As for the piggyback itself, it might not be a good model if you've gone through two and both exhibit the same issue. I haven't had any issues with the Titan Protune/Race Chip GTS module. I am currently testing a Vaitrix ECU Pro as well and so far no issues on that end.

100% will have rolling antilag.

Extreme burbles with a straight pipe exhaust is close enough to two step anti lag. Lol
