Elite street performance is dead. Lots of drama I don’t want to regurgitate, but the short of it is Curtis basically fled the country and left people hanging. Billy and Mike do still run a shop on the side along with their day job, and did a great job of setting people right. I’ll shoot you a...
Touch up will look like butt, especially since it’s a 3 stage pearl. Fortunately that is in a good spot. Paint tech will have plenty of room to blend the paint. Usually I hesitate to recommend cheap, but 1300 seems high. I’ve been out of the body shop for a while tho so maybe things have...
Those are the fronts. I’m having issues with the rear. Front shows no signs of weird wear oddly enough, even with the more aggressive toe and camber.
Curious what your thoughts are on this tire wear. I do not see any rub marks on suspension or liner which leads me to believe the toe is the problem, but it seems pretty mild judging by the spec sheet. Both rear tires show similar wear patterns with the left being worse. No issues on the...
Just did mine also. All in my cost was $1050~ with shipping to femto and the service, including shipping back to Texas. The DME was dropped off to DHL on the 26th and I had it back in my hand Monday the 31st. Absolutely insane logistics to pull that off.
Couldn’t be happier.
This is the answer. Someone on this forum was kind enough to measure/picture the holes to verify before I installed my heritage. If I end up tracking more I’ll just switched over.
I like the overall design quite a bit, but the sharp body lines on the top edge of the bumper going towards the hood are completely out of place. That one detail alone make it’s a deal breaker.
Boostlogic exhaust owner here. It likely did fit great, and about 3 miles later looked like hammered shit. I completely redid the exhaust multiple times before it finally sat properly. That’s an issue with having the worst points imaginable to mate the pieces together. I ended up ordering...
Just fair warning. My car was “built” and in transit for nearly 8 months. The tracker showed all kinds of goofy stuff off and on, including that the vin didn’t exist. One day it showed back up on the tracker and a week or so later, it was at the dealership. 2 miles and in perfect unmolested...
Those give me ptsd. Along with the (and this is not exaggeration) 110 torx screws holding on the front and rear bumpers of a VW beetle. I’d rather give the service advisor a handy, than to have him park that shit in my bay.
Just an additional warning. Those are extremely tight. If you break the t20 or strip it, there’s a hex head on the rear of the star that will save your ass. Spray some penetrating oil on it first.
post a picture of what you’re having an issue with. Goodness.
and if your deductible is somehow higher than 4 tires, glass, labor etc…. My guy you need a new agent.
