  1. Did you know Liam Lawson has a Supra?

Whatever the hell the team says ?
  2. Coolant issue

I haven’t gotten one. Yet…. But I do have an aftermarket larger radiator. I believe. Now I wanna go look. I really should have kept a log of all the shit I’ve put into it. But I keep saying this will be the last thing I’ll ever need ?
  3. a90.faz build thread

Yeah man!!!! That’s hotter than us… I don’t want either. Our humidity is set to instant sweat. I’d love to be a snowbird when I retire. It’s already getting too nasty ? for my taste.
  4. Has anyone ridden in a Tesla Plaid?

I doubt they’re perfect and I’d rather wait a bit longer. Unlike my wife ? But glad ur happy with it man. Even Consumer Reports has rated them well over the years over others. But it’s really hard to overcome biases on the short term. Only time will tell if they improve and are better than the...
  5. Has anyone ridden in a Tesla Plaid?

Yes he can only point to areas of interest. And hopefully government will turn around and trim the fat. Regular businesses in America have to operate the same way. So why not agencies that have been operating without accountability for so long? Change is tough, no doubt. I understand that...
  6. Studying Sebring - made a map

Great job on the map! I wouldn’t try to make the car do any of the movement lines you put on it after apexing. When you’re on full throttle (parts of the track long enough before the next apex), let the car naturally drift toward the next turning point for the next apex. Such as coming out of...
  7. a90.faz build thread

Sounds like your season is similar to ours. October - March is just cool enough to track the car w/out burning ? through parts, literally.
  8. What did you do to your Supra today?

My Supra got to sit back & relax yesterday while my future track money went to our 2nd, bigger ? of the two, AC units. Now both have been replaced in less than a year ?. Of course it happens right after I get a seat and new suspension parts…. One more part for the car is coming from...
  9. Has anyone ridden in a Tesla Plaid?

I’d really be worried about the Chinese EVs reliability and privacy policies. Unless they built them over here and had the same oversight & regulations. I’ve only been in my son-in-lawā€˜s 2024 Tesla Model 3 performance on a more regular basis and it appears to be a big step up in quality. Plus...
  10. Seat belt harness with stock seats

Glad you didn’t intend to throw more fuel on the fire for regular Americans who love all people but no longer want sheep ? guided legacy media (or Hollywood) telling us how to think. Neither side of the isle should be pushing hate. Since peeps take everything the wrong way online, it’s best to...
  11. Seat belt harness with stock seats

I didn’t see your crappy demeaning posted but you really need to keep it to cars or stay above the bullshit. Use the standard OEM seat and belt the car comes with until you get a proper seat. I did. It works just fine. That’s the advice by everyone. It’s that simple dude.
  12. TBK's Time Attack Build: MK-BRX

Not me. Hopefully all the early bugs got worked out. They did do plenty of upgrades to them. Like anything, just has to be checked more often when tracking. Edit: In fact, I need TBK to do well so I can sell mine. They were all upgraded and ready to go for the next owner ?
  13. trash site

iS4000 appear to be the ones to try on paper. Give em a go and let us know! Are they cheaper than the project mu’s & easier to get? I’ll try a set for you if you’re a vendor & report back ;)
  14. Stock Michelin tires are cracking

My experience, most tires get aren’t what they are cracked up to be after 3-4 years on the road & in the elements ? And… there’s always expiration dates: https://ag-safety.extension.org/tire-safety-expiration-dates 6 yeas past the build date I believe = time to swap
  15. What did you do to your Supra today?

Taking track heat out of the equation, I’ve seen 1st hand high humidity not being good on things that absorb moisture. And found out not all plastics are created equally. I’ve had some things ruin quicker than others before I got a dehumidifier in my garage - over the years. However, I’ve never...
  16. trash site

Yup, Geospec or similar fully coated - rust prone rotors are the way to go. You only buy more expensive ones if you had a vehicle that you are forced to buy ones that are limited production (or getting free one from a sponsor). Many of ā€cheaperā€ rotors are made to exceed OEM standards. Most come...
  17. Circuit Florida race track

If a track was that close, I’d consider membership. But I’m already a track junkie ?…. If just wanting to give it a go, try NASA, Chin or FARA Academy at Sebring for your 1st time. Go to their websites and you’ll see it’s cost a bit more because you need instruction. Once you’re solo qualified...
  18. Dirty Supra Thread

I rarely take a photo after a long track day/event. Now I’ll have to bust my camera/phone out. That’s one dirty Supra ?
  19. Circuit Florida race track

PBIR used to be a fun little track I’d go to, very similar. For $650 you can do 4 hours there and listen to a sales pitch. https://circuitflorida.com/trial-membership I rather do like David said and drive with NASA, Chin, FARA, PDG, or another big group that has experience running these...
