One lie being that my original exhaust cannot be sent to me because it is "too Big."
I mean that part is likely true. It's one giant piece. Not easy to ship and people can barely give them away for free, so I doubt he was trying to keep it to make some money on the side.

Burnt diffuser sucks though

Boostlogic exhaust owner here. It likely did fit great, and about 3 miles later looked like hammered shit. I completely redid the exhaust multiple times before it finally sat properly. That’s an issue with having the worst points imaginable to mate the pieces together. I ended up ordering adjustable hangers to get everything to sit exactly where I wanted it. Sucks to hear it got your rear defuser, but there’s plenty of examples on this forum of the same issue with the same exhaust. Fortunately the diffuser is very cheap and easy to replace. Best of luck in your corrective actions.
Additionally, BL has been known to send the wrong clamps with the system, leading to the clamps not tightening properly.

tl;dr - BL exhaust is shit for fitment. Enjoy.

Only way to ship the OEM exhaust would be to cut it up. All the way from the downpipe to the muffler, its in one piece. I thinks it close to being 2.5-3 meter / 8-9 feet long. If not even longer.

From what I've read, the fitment on the Boostlogic exhaust is not always the best, as the tips don't have much room for adjustment.

I went with Milltek, it might not look as fancy, but it has perfect fitment.

Sounds about right. My Boost logic exhaust was perfectly fitted, up until I started driving hard. Over time it eventually melted the diffuser and moved out of position. Probably going aftermarket diffuser at which point I'll most likely switch out the tips for a smaller diameter so there's some wiggle room. The BL tips are huge, they essentially fill the entire opening, hard to get right.

Wait, a lot of work done to your car? You made it sound like he turned the boost up to 35psi and you popped a piston or something. An amateur garage melted your rear bumper? Thats it? I would be mad, but more mad I didn't just install it myself. Post some pictures and grill them on google review / fb etc.

Paul is a great guy, provides amazing customer service and he is very reputable not only in the UK but all around Europe.

The boost logic exhaust tips are huge and it’s not unheard of that it melts the diffuser. I’ve seen it happen with several people. Even if it was installed incorrectly you could have asked them to adjust it and replace the rear diffuser (it’s not an expensive piece) but instead you are calling him names and spreading lies about him.

You are exaggerating the whole situation.

I'm happy you had a good experience. But I can assure you that there are no lies from me. I am a very reasonable person. I can accept parts not fitting etc. what I don't like is not being (told) the truth. If I was told that there was a problem it could have been rectified and I would not be making this post.
You said you had a lot of work done, is a lot of work just an exhaust?

The fact that you're mad about this tells me everything I need to know.

That exhaust is one big motherfu....

Sucks about the diffuser but that’s not a destroyed car. Click this link for destroyed cars.

New diffuser is only 200 or so… I melted mine a bit with my RK exhaust. Not enough to throw a temper tantrum though lol. If the entire diffuser melted like you were shooting flames for 10 minutes then I would say fair. But not photos
