I mean like with the remaining 2020s, any left over 2.0s will move with enough discounts and incentives. I guess I should have said "I'm curious if Toyota NA will lose any money on the 2.0s".
I read somewhere that they build a Premium 3.0 for $43k everything included, so they haven't lost a penny on any sold Supra lol. Besides, their bread and butter are the Corolla and Camry and the like. If they lost any money on the Supra at all, that's nothing compared the profit they're making on those.

Wow, with dealers letting the 3.0s go for $50k/>, no wonder the 2.0s aren't moving.

I could have sworn someone said they got one for $40k.
2020s are about $3K less than a comparable 2021 because there is that much more rebate money. Plus 2020 have 0%.

I doubt anyone bought a 2021 3.0 for $40K? Not even a base 2020? That would even be very questionable? I am talking a straight purchase without trade or any backend products or high doc fees.

In case I wasn't clear we were talking about the 2.0..

A base 2.0 should easily be negotiated to high 30's. A loaded one for 40ish would be a good deal.
If people can get the base 2.0 for around $38k I wonder how many will just skip on the upcoming 2nd gen BRZ/GR86 in favor of this car.

That's still a sizeable gap. BRZ/86 are mid to high 20's, maybe low 30's for a fully loaded one.

And you have the "no manual" turdmuffins running around.

Yeah, here in LA the 3.0 were still a good 15k above the 2.0. I ended up picking up my 2.0 for 44k OTD. Was actually the only one within a reasonable distance.

I am also "curious" about the 2.0. Daily drive, worth the money, etc..... When you have some miles on it, share some opinions. Looking to purchase in about 6 months. Just about every Toyota dealer in my are (within 100 miles), has at least one 2.0 and most have at least two. a couple dealers are listing their 2.0's at $45K but also list a '21 3.0 for $50K. Hard to justify the 2.0 when the 3.0 can be had for 4K more?????

Did you think about having one shipped from out of state? The cost is only like $800-$1k or so.
