Our Supra has OPF aka GPF blocks the exhaust a lot and kill the sounds, downpipe mod can bring it back like just 20%.
Usually we mod the link pipe to remove the OPF but it will trigger CEL time to time and turn your car into limp mode.

Unfortunately the cars with locked ECU cannot easily do ECU flash tuning so far to turn the OPF detection off, and piggyback solution cannot help it.
Before spending a lot of money and time on it, I have an easy solution:

Step 1. Cut the OPF and replace it by OPF delete pipe (Y pipe)
OPF delete pipe.jpg

Step 2. Coding with ISTA to turn off OPF detection (somehow the OPF flag affects the pops and bangs)

Then you will get the genuine sounds back:

BTW, you save about 3kg!

Yes you can.
Just find someone to disable the OPF detection.

There are some plugs that you can use to prevent the check engine light when the OPF/GPF is removed. No need to code anything.

Yeah, I’ve seen the harness but I’ve read mixed reviews abut it and that’s why Im looking for someone that can disable it through ISTA+

What does it look like inside there? Seems similar to the OEM exhaust resonator on US cars.

How exactly can you turn off OPF detection in ISTA? Also, do you have a link for the Y pipe you used? Thanks

I don't know how to do it, you may contact the expert directly, he can do it remotely.

The Y pipe is custom made, unfortunately no link.

Try the Ragazzon GPF delete.
Out of every available GPF delete, it has the best flow!
Part #: 55.0721.00
Its plug and play for EU spec cars with the V clamp on the downpipe. No welding required.

I have a 2019 EU model and wanted to ask if I'll have (always) a CEL after the OPF delete?

Yes, it will throw a CEL on a stock tune. Two ways around it:
Flash with MHD/BM3/Ecutek, etc., and disable the OPF sensor to prevent CEL.
Or install an OPF delete harness that fools the OPF sensor so it doesn’t show CEL.

Does that mean I can't change the exhaust system without a CEL?
I assume the same for a catless downpipe.
Limp mode all time?

I'm planning to do a software update/tuning anyway.
