2024 MT MHD Stg 2+ Strange Intermittent Boost Issues. Limp Mode?

Well I flashed stage 2 93 and same issue.
Quick as hell at first. Then I feel it pull 50% power and feel stock.
Can re flash same map and works but happens again.
Looks like custom map will be needed.
91 stage 2 seems to work fine.

Weird how the 91 tune seems to work? I’d think the 91/93 tunes are very close to the same. Maybe slightly less timing on the 91.

wanted to add to this thread. Ive had my car go into limp mode on both stage 1 and 2. I have a built clutch now and run stage 2. No CEL. I only know bc flooring it in 3rd gear feels like flooring it at low 6th gear. The only fix for me is to reflash the car. Only seen this issue pop up on the fourms. All of my local shops have no idea what was causing it.

Its probably exceeding a boost ceiling.

OTS boost control is... well kind of shit.

Never had limp mode once after going custom.

What gear are you guys losing power / limp mode? Just curious, is this normal power cut just because of traction? Or is this the issue being discussed with the stage 2 tunes? I’d think if it was limp mode it would stay reduced power until IG cycle but this seemed to recover once shifting to 2nd.

This is 1st gear, WOT. Hear tires squeal around 5000rpm , trac light starts flashing and rpm’s drop to 3k before it allows it to accel again. From what I remember, didn’t come off throttle but maybe lifted a little.

Seems like a bit too much intervention (it cut a ton of power) so just checking if this is normal or if this is the limp mode feeling people are discussing with the tune…

1 click off is less intrusive. Click and hold turns everything off.
