FCPeuro does exchanges on everything they sell. You send back the old oil and filter and they replace it. You pay for shipping back. So like $20 oil changes.Do you just drink it then?![]()
That does not sound remotely reasonable. Quite frankly Toyota USA does not care for it's customers, they are only after the money.I was charged $362 on 9/17 for an oil change at my local Toyota dealership, is this reasonable? I was charged $37 per quart of oil. What is amazing is that I thought the oil change would be covered by my Toyota Care plan but it recently expired on 9/6 and I did not noticed it.
I get a lot of emails from Toyota all the time, including satisfaction surveys, however, they did not had the courtesy of letting me know my Toyota Care plan was about to expire.
Anyone else with a similar experience?
Yes but working from the dealership ,you have to find out who that employee is and what their schedule is and hopefully they are not taking time off, I am completely unaware if my dealership has a customer relations manager because they do not publically advertise it. Could easily be solved from the top sending a message down to their dealership however it is an extremely time consuming process to even find the right people at Toyota Corporate. They have a brand engagement center I recommend calling that number at corporate, and you will see positive results, Dealership systems put in place are designed to cause you headaches and no results, you have to find the right individual person who cares. If the dealership is worth anything they'll likely have a customer relations manager. We have 2 of them, one for sales and one for service lol.
Escalate things a bit without taking it all the way to corporate IMO and they'll take care of you. Once you get corporate involved that's a bit of a slap in the face to the dealership and they may be less willing to help you now and in the future.
Congrats on replying to, and reviving a thread from 2021.That does not sound remotely reasonable. Quite frankly Toyota USA does not care for it's customers, they are only after the money.
I pay $75 in materials and I'm a cheap date so I don't charge myself for my labor. Takes 20 minutes tops.I paid $315 with a 10% discount at AutoNation Toyota. I was also shocked at the price until I looked up the cost of the oil change kit. I was told that a Supra technician has to perform the oil change too.

Literally the hardest part of changing the oil on a Supra is lifting it high enough to unscrew the drain plug.I pay $75 in materials and I'm a cheap date so I don't charge myself for my labor. Takes 20 minutes tops.
This is a Supra forum and this thread is about Supras. When I change the oil in my VW’s I don’t post about it here. Why would you? Like, what the F?I once (last year) asked an Acura dealership what they would charge to change the oil in a 2017 NSX. The Service guy told me $450. The oil change requires removing lots of panel screws and draining the oil in three places.
I run Same one. I do my oil changes. WARNING: Many threads and kind of an inside joke here to ask about what type of oil. ?It all comes down to preference. I run LiquiMoly because previous model BMWs swore by it lol. Special Tec 5w-30
