Yea NY is full of cops. State police are like freakin ninjas in police uniform. You can’t catch a break anywhere around here in NYC. Even upstate is teeming with state troopers everywhere.

Do a quick search of great driving roads in NY, then plan day or weekend trips. I did this for here in AZ, and there are a lot of gems out there that are likely closer than you think.

I recommend going an hour southwest towards central PA or upstate New York. I'm not a big fan of North Jersey:/

These ARE easier to fight however. (one of the first questions you should ask, and capture on camera if possible, is "how was my speed determined") In many places, like Neveda, many high speed tickets last year, such as those over 100mph, end up being adjusted to "parking violations". See the states AB411 Legislation. I am not sure about NY, but to be honest, NY may be a great place to visit, but I see absolutely no reason to live there, an this only reinforces that.

Funny, NY was a nice place to visit, if u like traffic jams and potholes! PS in Florida if u speed over 51mph over the limit, u go to jail! .... so u gotta keep it under 115mph, on a 65mph thruway.

Here is AZ, technically anything 20 over or more they can impound your car. This was implemented to assist with drag racing, but having said that I have passed officer in the desert many times doing 85+, no issues. (not to say that all officers would be so forgiving). Then again, I have also been ticketed on reservation land for 10 over, but they just want the money. You pay that ticket, to the tribal court, and it never appears on your license.
