My guess at this point is the Sport will be 38,999-39,999 and the Performance will be 44,999-45,999. The limited Proto version I have no clue, and at 240 units, I don't care. The (hopefully) forthcoming Nismo will probably be low 50's, still undercutting the Supra.

Weight? 3500ish, but bfd either way. All things considered, 100lbs here or there, wutev..

I agree but unfortunately that’s not how the Internet and social media works lol. Almost all the YouTubers are labeling the videos “New Z is here, RIP Supra” or something similar. I watched Raiti’s ride talk his ishh about the Supra during his first look at the Z.
I get that a lot of them have click bait titles but watching this one for example they are Z fan boys but still remain some what moderate at the same time.

So getting back on topic. It's good to see for the most part that everyone is having a good discussion. Post whatever you guys like, just don't break any rules and no personal attacks.

My take on this whole Z vs Supra topic. Looks are subjective, to some it's pick your poison. Performance and value wise, I'll hold off judgement until we have more info and some head to head comparison test.

it sucks?

Of course, I'm kidding, I actually like the car quite a bit. I can't wait to see what people do to theirs.

There are probably some short cuts, many on the interior, but we'll know more when we see it. Has there been an official MSRP announcement about it? I haven't been paying close attention, but this could be some 44,999 or 49,999 shit.
It has not, but they have said the base model will be less than the 2.0 Supra.

Now to wait and see what the Mazda 3.3L Inline 6 RWD platform will produce. Am I dreaming, or was there a rumor going around saying that this would also be the new platform for an upcoming Toyota car as well?
