Usually, someone with much more experience on this topic will respond to you. Do you understand this concept? Are you putting two and two together? Does that make sense? I have been a BITOG Member for 20+ years. The B58 discussion focuses on oil weight. My question is what brand, what weight, and why. For example, I will 1st try Valvoline European 5w-30 because it is an SN grade low Sap’s oil with good anti wear additives package.(~1000ppm ZN,PO, 200 BO, 1000 ppm CA, and virtually MO.) I will monitor oil temperature, consumption, and the general feel as to how the engine runs at low and high rpm. If it feels good. I will have a VOA and UOA sample analyzed for wear metals at 1000, 2000 miles, …. If it doesn’t feel right, I'll drain and go to another oil like Mobil 1 ESP, Castrol Euro, Amsoil, motorcraft, …

I asked the question because of all the experience you all have with your Supra’s. Lots of folks are using liqui moly. Why?
