So far I haven't modded mine enough I'm worried about getting denied on anything except maybe wheel bearings but I'd much rather have studs than the stupid lug bolts. So yes currently I've still got 7 years or something till mine is up or 100k ?

I use them all the time at work (almost everyday). Have you had back luck in the past? I went with a manufacturer one since it was about the same price as the one I could have gotten from where I work.

Yes, however, they do require an inspection on the car prior to purchase to verify there are no issues currently with the vehicle. This may not matter, however, if the car is still under factory warranty or new vehicle warranty
This question is nothing new. I’ve known a few dealership owners & brought this up before. I was told they usually (but not always) inspect oil level, condition and review your maintenance records. That’s it. The burden is on the manufacturer to prove the oil caused the problem. The only way they are sending out the oil is if they suspect improper oil caused the failure. As long as you meet the minimum specifications set by the manufacturer, you are good to go. What Bryan and many other are using, exceed the manufacturer’s specifications. It’d be hard to prove Motul (or similar brands) have shitty oil. And there’s no way they are wasting their time with that - if you’ve been changing it regularly. Yes 0W-40 is superior. But it ain’t cheap either.Warranty question. With the Toyota manual explicitly calling for LL-17FE 0W-20 oil, if one were to use an LL-01 or LL-04 oil and have engine failure what are the chances of a denied warranty claim?
Stock engine here and doing more and more track days in the Supra, but still trying to maintain that warranty
Do you drive your Supra during Winter months? What would you say is lowest and highest ambient temps during which you have driven? Where I live, they are 40F - 90F.
Yes, I drive my Supra year round. Temps typically anywhere from near zero to over 100F. Although, the coldest temp since I’ve lived in Oklahoma was close to -30F.
Then 0W-30 oil makes sense.? I've been using 5W-20 (factory fill) in my MX5....so far, so good. My Supra now has 6200 miles on it with 0W-20. I may send some of the next change to get tested.
