anybody know how to get more top speed out of a 2022 3.0 supra

I don’t know what the car is limited to stock. When I mentioned to my tuner that the speedo stopped at 163, it was the first he had heard of it. But I know not many people are half mile racing and probably haven’t experienced that yet with the mkv.

All of my time slips were between 169-171mph, and you could still feel the car accelerating at the 163mph mark, the dash just says otherwise. Not what I’d expect from a digital dash.

It's in the manual. It's governed to 163. The tuner removes this limit.

No it isn't. 163 mph is just over 262 km/h.

I don't know why BMW/Toyota decided on 163 mph, but it's not because it's 250 km/h.

I should've elaborated. It's 163mph indicated, but with the built in deviation, you're actually doing around 155mph, which is right around 250kph.

I gotcha. I just wanted to be clear I wasn’t being dumb on the street. Hell even on a runway with a ton of open space, it’s pretty wild doing 160+.

people in the south run 60-160 street races but its pretty rare to find
