Snake oils don't do shit. Only thing they do is lighten your pocket
But I already know how this goes, you'll use it anyways.......... so go ahead and play chemist and mix it in there. Better yet, go full send and throw in some liqui moly ceratec and MOS2 while you're at it.

To add onto this. You have to realize that the additives that work are already in quality oils. That's why people buy good oil for high performance cars.

Another thing about oil additives is they are good money makers compared oil.
It's no wonder liqui moly aggressively pushes them. A bottle of ceratec is $35 for 300ml. While the oils go for around $10 bucks per liter.

The liqui moly MoS2 additive is actually some good stuff that works. I don’t buy it by itself, I just get the oil that already has it in it. Green bottle.

I'd be willing to say sure, some oil additives probably do provide some benefit in some applications, but the thing is, with almost anything I suppose, is nuance.

It may help in one application, but is it noticeable and cost effective? aka does the juice justify the squeeze?

I think you would be much better served by buying a solid quality oil that meets the manufacturers certifications. I haven't dove too far into it myself with the Supra as my car is still under toyotacare until its next oil change but generally manufacturers specify certifications for a reason.

You don't think Porsche would specify a bad quality oil for a GT3 do you?
