Ordered Daw ultra flow R Black Friday from European performance. Just wondering if anyone received theirs yet. I wrote them an email and they said they are waiting for DAW. May cancel it and go with the omega65 if I don’t get it soon and plus DAW seems underwhelming based off the recent post. Thanks

DAW underwhelming in reference to performance? I've heard and seen videos of nothing but good reviews.

Which post are you referencing?

Did you contact DAW themselves to get an update?
Someone posted recently posted their actual dyno results couple days ago. Perhaps it was the tune but it wasn’t even at 500 whp.

On average their kits take 4 weeks to ship
When I ordered thru European performance it said turbo was “in stock”. So I can only go off that. There was no mention of them having to get it from DAW. Although in my emails with them they said they were waiting on DAW.

Funny how 500WHP isn’t even cool anymore…
Right? I mean it's not. Not even being snarky or 'anything less than 1100hp is slow,' like I usually am (ahem @razorlab), but like. 500hp is fucking ton of power for a daily driven street car.

I remember ripping through cars in my 205hp supercharged Saturn back in the day, and I hardly ever lost a street race! Lol

It's a brave new world. 500hp and 10s cars have become the mid 90s fastball.

Note that when you read about turbos, look for the associated fuel modifications. Because if they aren't getting more gas (pi, etc..) or more octane (meth, e, etc..) then they aren't getting more power. Nothing makes a new turbo look worse than just slapping it on and putting it on a dyno.

Yeah, I remember when my 98 Trans Am with the LS1 sitting at 310hp was considered fast.

Side story:
A kid was admiring my car one day at the Circle K shortly after I purchased it. He asked "How fast have you been it?" "So far about 140. Haven't had it long." - I replied. He said "That's it?" I thought for a second before I answered. "Look around. In today's world every car on the street can hit 140, 150, 160 and more." I said. He shooked his little smartass punk kid's head. (lol jk) I continued "It's not really about how fast your car is. It's about how quick it gets there." Then politely held the door open so he could go get his Sour Patch Kids.

I have shipped about 6 in the last month all ordered and shipped within 3-5 days.

Which one did you order 6 Port UF-R?

I've always felt 500whp for a streetcar to be the sweet spot. Fast enough to have a ton of fun on the street and easier to put it down and use it.
When you get past needing to be the fastest on the street you can just kick back, live in the moment, and love what you got.

Right..sorry, yes with just bolt-ons and catted he ran under 500. I understand it’s capable of much more with supporting mods. But I don’t plan on doing anything beyond what that person also had.
