Had H&R on my 2020, on the track it exposed lots of issues, went with HKS adjustable this time on the 23, way better, but still gonna bite the bullet on a proper set of coilovers once I feel like spending 4-5k

Installed the "Eibach E10-20-046-02-22 Lowering Springs" and they have been great. These only lower the car for 20mm (0.8 inches). Not going back as these look and feel great with my TE37s.

Had Eibach and they looked great but rubbed slightly because I like chunky tires. Then went stock rear and H&R up front. Just a tad too low for my liking with 275/35/19. So I think I’m going back to stock plus I care more about drag performance than looks. So also doing it for that reason.

I’ve installed H&R lowering springs and the stiffness is VERY high, but no rattling or issues. If you want to track the car or an aggressive setup it’s great but if u have rough roads it is tougher

Welp. I have a set of eibach z4 lowering springs and some set of silencers. I haven’t decided whether I want to install them or not, since my past experience with cars, every time I installed aftermarket parts, I always end up with some mysterious suspension noise. Anyone install springs and NOT get weird sounds?

Installed the H&R Lowering Springs the day after I purchased my A91 CF and absolutely to issues with noise. The only issue is front spoiler clearance on certain curbs and driveways. Had to install Bridjit ramps in my driveway to get in and out without tearing up the Carbon Fiber front lip. Outside of that no problems with the springs.

I like being able to switch from a softer ride for normal driving and to the firmer setting for track with a flick of a switch. Right before the supra, I had an miata ND2 which I installed some sakebomb Ohlins. Was great, but due to metal bushings/hats it was noisy AF. My other car at the same time was a gt350. That one had the magnetic ride with 3 settings. I absolutely loved that suspension. I think I can ever give up magnetic dampening

I did run into one issue when putting the rears back together though. The rear driver-side lower control arm swivel hole DID NOT want to line up for me and I ended up stripping the bolt and had to source another from harbor freight to temporarily get the car back together while I waited on the OEM replacements to ship from Toyota. Other than this issue, the entire process from start to finish was super easy!
That happened with me and the Miata when I installed some new coilovers. I had to use some grunt and a chunky pry bar to get the rear lower control arm holes aligned. I didn’t want to strip the threads of the bolt. It was a PITA

I was super worried as well I read a lot of negative stuff on springs and noises and getting silencers. I ended up going with Whiteline springs for a few reasons. They’re pretty popular in the import community. I’ve ridden in 2 supras with them and they rode very nice with no noises and when looking at the spring rates they were only slightly firmer then stock but still gave a 1ā€ or so lowered stance.

The look is perfect.

Those are some nice looking wheels! Gives it an OEM+ look. What are they?

Gotcha. I guess it comes down to what we needed to do. When I switch suspension settings I don't really notice enough of a difference for the track. With my 350R, I definitely did and I probably would never have swapped to coilovers on that car unless it turned out, later, I needed it after adding aero.
If our stock suspension suits your needs, I say heck yeah. That saves you a ton of money and time!

Can anyone compare differences on ride quality and street performance between the Z4 Euro Eibach vs US-spec Eibach ProKits? I know they have different advertised height drop but the US spec was specifically made for the GR Supra while the Euro-spec was just used for the Supra because ā€œit fits and with milder dropā€ springs.

Those of you with the Euro Eibach springs, do they come with silencers or bump stops or anything else?

I think the Supra out of the box is amazing! I’d love to have one untouched for street and a seriously considering it. That being said, after tracking her a few weekends, my car makes lots of noise. I haven’t had a single track car that didn’t make noise. It may not be the springs. Iā€˜ve got a shit ton of SPL parts, sway bars, and I absolutely love the feel on track! My brakes make tons of dust and noise - but they stop repeatedly on a dime. Give and take for anything you do, imo
